I am Cherokee and Creek Indian. I was adopted by an Eastern tribe as an adult. The tribal elders named me Eagles Spirit Feathers. I shorten it to Spirit Feather for ease. That is what my tribal family calls me.

I love Mary Poppins but that name was taken when I signed up. Instead, I thought back to the Simpsons when the show did a satire on Mary Poppins and entitled Mary's character as "Sheree Bobbins." I thought the name was cute and since I like the Simpsons I'm happy with this moniker.

Mine is because when I joined the DIS in August of 1999 I was in the process of helping my dh plan our most wonderful first Disney trip together in - you guessed it - December of 1999!!! And I couldn't come up with anything else that was clever!

Mine is inspired by the screen-names my parents took. My mom is Whitegloves, which she chose because Mickey wears white gloves. My dad is Workgloves because it is masculine..I think. He doesn't post to the dis though. Mom and I debated over what I should register as, and VelvetGloves seemed like the best choice.

When I signed up I did not know at the time that you could come up with a unique name. So I used part of my full name (Cynthia). When I singed up for an email address I couldn't get "Thia" (my great grandmother called me that) so I tried different variations and came up with Cthia. I also have a license plate with "Thia" on it.
