He always messed up my given name and called me Tess--he knew my given name well and the shortened variation thereof--he, however, felt that I was a "Tess" and that's what he called me. The screen name came to me when I registered shortly after DIS came online. There was already a user of my name, so this nick popped into my head as a grand alternative. I've used it ever since. . .I've really come to like the name actually.

I'm a total Star Wars nut, much to my wife's dismay (though she still tolerates me.) My work cube has a few Star Wars posters & knick knacks. Because of this, people started referring to me as that "Star Wars Guy". Kinda stuck with me when I needed a screen name.

My name is explained in my signature. Although if I could do it over again, I would have inserted spaces to make it read The LK 4. I didn't think about spaces when I entered it, and the reason I put the explanation in my signature is that some have thought it had something to do with elk!
