What does you company pay for gas mileage

very hot topic at my office. Next week we go from $575 with a no limit gas card to $400 with a gas card limit. The excuse is that we had it "too good for too long", well we gave up pay raises to keep the car allowance at what it was. Now we also have to deduct 40 miles a day for personal time. Not sure how all this is going to play out, but I look for it to get nasty.

We get about 50 cents per Kilometer. sometimes more sometimes less but it averages out to about 50 cents. So figure there is about 1.7 kilometers in a mile.

In my previous position with the company I work for (less than 2 years ago), I had access to that info................
Our company......... as of Aug, 2002...........reimbursed............
10 CENTS per mile!



Needless to say, it is sometimes difficult to retain employees.

Very interesting.

I get $.25 per mile. I do home health in a rural area so I drive quite a bit. Maybe I should ask for more. (Yeah, right.)
