Can anyone uncode that unit description? I traded with RCI and this is what they sent me. I get to call disney this week once the trade gets to them, but for now this is what I have. I assume 1 bedroom. Hoping Savanna view..... but not sure.

Thanks!

It must be RCI coding, because it doesn't match DVCs abbreviations.

I would guess it breaks down:

1B = 1 Bedroom
SAV = Savannah View
SA = Studio Attached (lock-off available)

Yea again! I love the Savannah view part! This trip is going to be awesome. Thanks..

Now...if they grant my wish of being close to the buses or the main lobby, I would be even happier.

Just out of curiosity, how many RCI points / days did you need to spend to get 1 week of DVC? What would be the equivalent of rental / point value for that RCI ownership?

With DVC, it would cost about 200-300 points for such room (1BR, SV@AKL), depending on the season of travel. That point value would translate to about $2000-3000 in cash equivalent.

Is it lower or higher trading from RCI?

Thanks.

I hope I can help as it is my grandmas timeshare. It cost us, for a week in November, 77,000 points for a one bedroom at Animal Kingdom Villas for the week. I know when I exchanged her 2013 week, it translated into 105,000 points, so I used well under what she had to exchange. She has a fixed week through Club Whydam Vacations. Not sure where....all I know is that I exchanged that into RCI points (can also be done to II) and I put in a request for a week in DW for mid nov to mid dec. I have no idea what the cash equivalent would be. I did have to pay the $199 exchange fee and a $60 guest certificate. I exchanged through RCI and then they send the info to DVC.

Hope that helps...if I can offer any more info, just ask!

We are using my mil RCI to stay at a 2 bedroom villa with a sav. view at Kidani in August. It was 29 points for the last week in August.
