What does this Update on Resort Dis Resort Hotels page mean?

I found this in another thread here. Don't know if it's been posted elsewhere either. I've been to this page before, and don't recall seeing this before, so I don't know if it's new or what...

Re-opening dates:

July 10	Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort
July 29	Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
August 12	Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort
August 24	Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
September 21	Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
October 1	Disney's BoardWalk Resort
October 14	Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

What does this mean? For example, we have deluxe CL rez for BWI the last week of July? Are we able to keep it... or getting cancelled... or moved... or what?

I’m wondering the same thing. We are booked for the week of Sept 13th at BWI. I’m so aggravated, especially after taking over two hours this morning just to get a park reservation, now this!

Thanks, I'm reading thru that thread now. Anyone know at what time this announcement appeared?

Talk of this is also intermingled with people trying to make their park rez this morning.

Apparently the NBA votes on Wed on whether to continue with having their season or not, and if they vote No, then apparently a lot of rooms will suddenly open up?

If the NBA deal were to fall through, I imagine the hotels they are planning to stay at would just remain closed until the posted opening dates in the OP.
