We have seen Mary Poppins three times -- once at DLRP, and twice at WDW. One of the CMs portraying Mary Poppins at WDW -- the one at PSB in Epcot, I believe -- did a horrible job of butchering the British accent and made Mary Poppins into some Cockney charwoman instead of the very proper British governess she is. Quite disappointing to hear such a hatchet job that turned Mary into Eliza Dolittle, but not surprising to find such ignorance of the British language.
On the next day Mary Poppins at CRT had a much more genteel accent and smiled when I remarked that the day was "practically perfect in every way."
