What does everyone do for a living?

After over 40 years as a research technician with various oil and chemical companies, as of October 1st I became a retired person.
Now I have time to devote to my love of history.

Dh and I are both computer geeks - he does hardware and operating systems, I support MAS90 accounting software (from home - self-employed).

even though I truly do live what I did I would love to be a travel agent only problem is I would probably only send people to disney

I spent 14 years of my life delivering mail as a rural carrier, now I am a SAHM due to the fact I went out on disability 2.5 years ago from Rhuematoid Arthritis. Now I am a SAHM and DH is a fork lift driver for Reebok.

I am also feeling very "low income" based on other occupations on this thread.

I am a Budget Manager for a not-for-profit health care insurance company.

I'm a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. The Other Half is the CFO/Business Manager/Customer Service Dept/ Staff Accountant/AR/AP person for a brand new startup company that franchises specialty glasses for people who do things like climb Everest and sail around the world. There are only 2 of them in the company, hence all the job titles.

..... I just fix trucks. Actually,now I tell others how to fix them. DW is a program aide at a respite home for handicapped/abused children.

In a few years I hope to be a broom/dustbin operator in AK. DW wants to work in the kennels. We dream big !!

I am program director for a non-profit agency. We are concerned about young children (mostly birth to age five) and their families.
DH is a driller in the oil field.

We both are LSU sports fanatics!!

DH is a farmer. We own/operate a family farming operation with my DH's brother, his sons and our son. We primarily raise Angus beef cattle but also raise some crops.

I do the bookkeeping for the family farm and am a massage therapist/personal fitness trainer working out of my home.

One nice thing about being self-employed is the flexibility when scheduling our vacations to WDW!

(Everything from ads, giveaways, brochures and of course showing up and running around like crazy).

I am a SAHM for three princesses ages 6,4, and 1. DH says I should be a travel agent, but in my former life I was a bank examiner. DH is a family doc.

I stay at home with my two girls, 5 1/2 and 2 1/2.
My last job before my first was born was managing a busy hair salon.

Hubby is a hairstylist who is also part of an education team that teaches weekly classes and workshops that require him to sometimes travel. Every once in a while he travels with a show team, but that is now only a few times a year.

I am an Instructional Designer and part-time college lecturer in graphic design and computer applications. I also do print and web design as an independent contractor.

DH is a full-time student studying to be a physician assistant.

Someday I hope to play princess Ariel or Snow White at WDW. If I wait much longer, I may have to be Cruella or Ursula.

We live on the farm I grew up on. While he farms I watch babysit grandson and what ever needs to be done such as running and getting parts in town to refilling coffee thermos and water jugs !

Glad to say we have 2 of our grown children now living on the farm also .... keep it in the family !!
