*What does everyone do for a living/job/career???*...

I'm 21. I am a full time student/ student researcher (takes up ALOT of time).

I also work almost fulltime as a support staff for individuals with special needs. I love my job.

I hope to go to graaduate school and get my Ph.d in clinical neuropsychology. I would love to specialize in pervasive developmental disorders.

I'm the VP of Service for an office equipment company. I'm still trying on that title ... just got it last week :goodvibes

I'm a part time Sports therapist (athletic trainer) but due to not enough work for it here in the UK I also work in a supermarket. Looking at changing to either the ambulance service or hopefully become a physio assistant.

Pre-k Teacher and Concession Stand Manger

I am an actor/singer/comic.

I also design and maintain databases for payroll companies.

I am a freelance writer and the author or co-author of twelve books. I write primarily magazine articles but also do work for the University near my home (writing for the campus newspaper and the alumni magazine), social services organizations, and corporations needing written material.

(And I raised my four kids this way - you CAN make a living as a writer...)

I studied Filmmaking, worked in the industry a few years, realized I would never have steady work and them moved into the tourism industry. I am now working as a stewardship assistant, writing letters and cards to people who have donated money to one of the large Universities here. For the most part, the work is quite fun. But ultimately I think I would like to work in a more creative field.

Very interesting- I've always found the career makeup on these boards to be skewed...

Very much "helping" professions- teachers, doctors, SAHMs, EMS/Firefighting...

I'm a speech pathologist (waves to the audiologist) who volunteers at the fire department as an EMT (starting the Firefighter I orientation tomorrow night, gulp! :rotfl: ).

I graduated with a Psych degree. Currently, I am working at a local mom and pop gift shop, Smith's Variety. Starting graduate school in the fall for elementary ed.
woo!:cool1:

Right now, I am working in a residential facility for adults who have severe MRDD. But I will be leaving that job shortly, for a plasma donation center.

I'm also in school, and once I'm accepted, starting my nursing degree!

1. SAHM
2. Nurse Practitioner ( do occasional per diem work)

I'm a SAHM. I used to be a financial planner, which I loved. My DH is a corporate lawyer.

I have been an empty nester for a few years and a homemaker for all of my married life. 7 years ago I started raising labrador retrievers for Guiding eyes for the blind. I get a new pup every year and just LOVE it.
