What does DIS stand for?

I assume it's DISney, but does it stand for something else?

It used to be the Disney Information Station and a while back it had to be shortened to the DIS

And, as the site got bigger and more widely known and read, the owner thought it best to drop the actual word 'Disney' from the name, so as to not infringe on Disney's copyrighted/trademarked name.
