What does DCL do for those celebrating anniversairies. We had a Disney wedding and honeymoon.

We sailed on the Fantasy for our anniversary a few years ago, and during our (first) dinner at Animator's Palate, Crush spoke to us by name at our table, wishing us happy anniversary and making us say 'I love you' in whale to each other (because whale is such a romantic language, of course). ;) We still laugh about it, and it really made a memory for us!

We are sailing concierge on our B2B next month and we will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary.

Last year they took great care of us on our anniversary so we are hoping for another memorable trip this year!

how did they take care of you?

We have celebrated 2 anniversaries on board. The first time it was a few weeks before actual day. Palo did the plate chocolate thing and gave us one of the best servers we ever had on DCL who treated us so kindly. The main dining room did a song and dance thing which was a bit embarrassing but cute. Then the last time it was the day of the anniversary and we ate in Palo and they did nothing and gave us one of the worst servers. lol The main dining room forgot the song which was fine by me. lol.. FWIW that last cruise was the most memorable despite anyone really recognizing the anniversary. We printed our own magnets and had the best time!

Honestly Disney has so many people celebrating stuff I would not expect anything really. Even if you did have a fairytale wedding as how would they know that since WDW is a technically a separate entity inside the company. They sell the Champagne Anniversary kit for a reason! So make the most of it on your own and be surprised by anything additional they do.

I celebrated my birthday, last year, and my stateroom host decorated the cabin and at Palo's they brought a plate with happy birthday on . Don't tell anyone but I packed the plate carefully and it is now in my curio cabin (no I don't think I will try the chocolate that everything is written with):)

My parents celebrated their 50th anniversary on the cruise and they were given a small dessert at dinner one night and another at Palo. Honestly, I thought being their 50th, DCL would give them some champagne or something, but I suppose there are just too many people celebrating something on the ships!
