I know the CP package includes tip but not beverage or tax--does it include an appetizer? I think it did last year. I didn't think we'd ever go back in December--love those APs!

Yes, if you are going to a teri 2 or 3 restaurant it includes a appetazier, entree, & dessert.

BTW the amount that was charged on your credit card is the tax included amount. It is just the amount "quoted" that does not include the tax. For example, Garden Grill is $26.99 but the amount that will be charged on my Credit Card (if it ever is) will be $28.61.

Thanks! We are 58 days out as well! I just booked the CP but didn't get my first choice, San Angel, as all they had left was 8 or 8:15. So I booked the 5PM CP with a 7PM PS at Rose and Crown. We get to MCO at 10:15 (God willing) and even if we have a delay or two, I am hoping we can be settled at the Swan and at Epcot in plenty of time, and still have time after dinner if needed to use that 15% discount (monorail here I come!) Now if only they would release the narrator list!:D

In the past they have offered a shopping discount good for the day at Epcot. I was told that it will be offered agian this year. I quess we will have to wait to find out. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I asked to confirm this on the theme parks board--can't link to threads, but it is a 15% discount and it seems to still be in force this year.

Actually you get your choice of either soup, salad or appetizer, but generally the appetizers are the more expensive items on the menu and so a better deal as part of the package.

This year if we go we wanted to go to Le Cellier. For four of us it would be $160 before tax and tip. Ouch!!!!! I may have to rethink this!

It is a bit pricey but the package can be a good deal. Look at Le Cellier's menu and see what you would order. Stick to the more expensive items. For example:

Seared Scallops appetizer $9
Duck Confit entree $23
Creme Brulee desert $5
20% tip $7+

Total price: $44+

OR go most expensive all the way:

Rock Crab Spring Rolls $10
Mushroom Filet Mignon (or Lamb Chop) $26
Chocolate Cake $6
20% tip: $8+

Total: $50+

And of course you get the 15% merchandise discount, AND the CP seating.
