What does an ME tag look like?

Good grief, what a question! Anyhow... this will be the first time I have flown to WDW sinec ME started. I called my AAA TA two days ago and asked for ME tags. Today I get two tags in the mail. They are rectangular, hard plastic, have loops so you can attach them to the suitcase. On the front is a picture of the castle and the YAMD logo, along with a small AAA logo at the bottom. On the back is a place to write my personal info.

Did I get ME tags or not? For some reason, from reading on here this is not what I thought they looked like.

no, those are complimentary souvenir luggage tags as a thank you for booking a package.

DME tags are long, yellow and foldable and contain all the relevant vacation information. they're like the normal white baggage tags the airport adds to your luggage. you get 2 (although they could be mistaken for 4) per person.

either your AAA agent is confused (and didn't send you EVERYTHING?) or your AAA agent is confused and didn't arrange DME for you.

DME information is sent out about 6 weeks prior to check-in, which is before they send out package bonuses.

Thanks, Brad. I was pretty sure what I had was not the ME tag. I appreciate you confirming that. My timetable is somewhat different since I just decided to fly (thanks SW ). I leave in THREE weeks I guess if nothing shows up in the mail between now and then I'll have to schlep the bags thru the airport myself

you can do that if you don't get the tags in time, sure, but the system also allows for it. if you go directly to the DME check in desk and hand over the claim tags and provide a description of the bags, they'll have someone pull them from the carousel and send it through the baggage delivery service.
