What do your kids like to do at summer camp?

I am in the beginning stages of planning our annual summer day camp(well, I am 1 of 2 directors), and am looking for new ideas to "spice" things up this year. Just for fun, I thought I would see what my creative, fun, online DISboard friends had for ideas (if any, but I am sure there are at least a few fun ideas out there!)
We typically run 4 stations daily - Sports/Games, Art/Crafts, Outdoor Skills, and one mystery station or "potpourri". I am just wondering what kinds of things your kids enjoy the most at summer camps or if you were planning a camp what ideas you might have.

My boys go to a camp that does a bunch of stuff for half hour/ 45 min blocks. Aside from swimming, which hands down is their favorite activity, they enjoy cooking, karate (they bring a specialist in 1x a week) and color war.

One theme day they had last year which both boys loved was WACKY WILD WATER DAY!!! They played wet sponge dodge ball, sprinklers and they brought in a huge blow up water slide. They loved it!!

Ooh - karate - that's an idea, maybe we could tie it in with Kung-foo Panda or something...hmmm I like that! We do have a water day on Friday, and a pool day on Wed(unfortunately we couldn't afford to go to the pool everyday because of funds and having to walk there(not far, but not something they want to do everyday). Thanks!

You could tie a cooking day into Ratatoille.... chef hats or aprons can be the arts and crafts project..and you could "cook something". It could be making a home made trail mix or fruit salad if you don't have access to a kitchen. Or even decorating cupcakes.

Or maybe have a Pirate and Princess party one day-- have them come in dressed up as pirates or princesses and have arts and crafts be making princess crowns or pirate hats...
