Assuming you make a list, what do you most often write those lists on? ETA You can choose multiple options...you know me, always like to keep things interesting. ;) :cool1:

Shh, don't let my boss know - I write them on my guest check pad from work

Whatever's handy - napkin, deposit slip, page from a note pad, post-it, palm of my hand....

we did something different.......Made a list on the computer ....AISLE one....AISLE TWO......and so on and the list of items in that AISLE that we regularly use.....or the word OTHER...and I put it on the fridge......when I run out I circle the item......or add the item to OTHER....in the right aisle of course...that way I have it always in front of me and know where I am going.....works well....hubby makes 52 copies at a time for me and I have them for a year at least

Oh, and 10 bonus points to the first person who guesses which option my DH chose last night!

On DH's shirt.:teeth:
He does the food shopping.

I have those magnetic pad list things on my fridge and I just add to it whenever I see or remember that I need something, then just pull off that tiop sheet an dtake it with me.

I'm an uber-organized, anal-retentive PIA, who has notebooks and files for everything. Our list is written on a piece of lined paper from my special grocery store list notebook. :thumbsup2

Uh, it also has it's own special pen.

I picked new piece of paper. But there are other times when I just write it on what ever I can find; piece of junk mail, napkin, etc.

Most of the time, my list is either written on a piece of notebook paper I've found in the house or typed into an Excel spreadsheet (where it is organized by aisle with boxes to check off once we get the item, and lately there's been a price comparison box for the two stores we get groceries from). I'm only a little OCD, I promise!!!

I have a magnetic list pad on my fridge that I write the items I need down on as I run out of them or think of them. However I usually go to the store without a list, I'm pretty good at remembering what I need.

Wow. Now that is a system.

That's what I do, too!:thumbsup2

Pumba - my Mom does something very similar to you. She handwrites her grocery list on a white lined tablet sheet. Every item is listed in order of the aisles she goes up and down.

We use whatever piece of paper we can find. Sometimes it is a real piece of paper. Other times it's the back of an envelope or a post it.

I have one of those pads that hang on the fridge and add to it as I need things. I had also picked up a neat pen that has a large magnet on the top so that hangs next to the list. That's probably the only organized thing I have in my house.

I'm guessing kleenex box since that option cracked me up. :lmao:
Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner, folks!!!   I'll have a webmaster send you a PM with your 10 points.... :scared1: :rotfl2:

And when I saw what my DH was going to make the list on, I wouldn't let him do it, either. :rotfl: He then used an envelope, which is fine by me and something that I use when I have coupons to redeem since I can stick them in the envelope.

Maxi Pad??
Don't give him ideas... :sad2:

Bless your unorganized heart.
