I'm thinking of applying for a WP position at disney, so any helpful hints that you can give would be great in case I get an interview - thanks!

More ideas for the little things. I had to search them all out myself.
It was a good thing I had you guys, or my wedding wouldn't have been the same.

I think a little more personal attention at least for escape weddings. I feel like just because we're not paying 10K shouldn't mean that we get less attention. I think the option for a planning session would be nice, at least to taste cake, look at flowers, etc. Right now I email my planner and usually don't get a response for 3-4 days. If it's urgent I call and get an answer sooner. Maybe that's just a matter of staffing though.

Good Luck!

I agree! I had an intimate wedding in January '06 and it seemed as if the details were less important because of that. I had a very hard time getting my phone calls and questions returned also. I really only had two things that made me unhappy on my wedding day. My bouquet was not what I asked for. I wanted to have a two-tone pink & white rose of any kind and instead a got solid pink. I could understand if they didn't have any available but I would like to have known or had any option to change before I saw them as I'm getting out of the limo on my wedding day. The second disappointment was that I was rushed down the aisle with my dress bustled. I was all teary eyed and emotional and my mind was everywhere at the moment with last minute jitters. I didn't even think about it. I thought they would have at least looked at my train or possibly even straightened it for me before sending my down. Of course my (matron of maid) cousin was already down the aisle and when I got there she saw it and panicked to take it down and then had to break it because it won't come lose. She felt horrible but I told her not to worry, I understood completely. I never said anything after and I still don't know if it would have mattered. It could have been worse I guess. I had my cake upgraded for $100 and that was done perfectly because I was e-mailed pictures. I certainly would have paid more for my bouquet to get what I wanted. So I'd said lack of communicate and detail was what bothered me the most. Thank you for asking our opinions and having us share our troubles with you. Good Luck to you! :thumbsup2
