What do you wish happens to you after death?

I really don't know how to phrase this question, if anyone has suggestions I'll change the name.

What are your wishes after you die?
Burial? Cremation?
What do you wish to pass down to your family?
Organ Donation?
Body donation?

I want to be cremated. Except my knee! I know it sounds crazy, but I want them to keep my knee. I don't want them to use it again on someone else, but I'm not quite sure if it would burn. I want my family to keep my ashes so I'm "around". Or be made into a diamond. That would be really cool. Like, instead of passing down a grandmothers ring, they could say "This is the ring my grandma's in!" Creepy, yes. But cool.

I want my body to be donated to science. Once they're done with that, take my organs! Anyway I can help society, I'll be glad to do it. How about you?

I'm not really sure... All i'm reminded of is a dark humourous thread on the TPAS boards about having your ashes scattered about WDW.

I know that I want to donate my organs. In an RS lesson, we were asked questions and we had to rate the answer from 1-5, 1 being absolutely, and 5 being no way. I was shocked that almost everyone in the class chose about 4-5 for organ donation when they died, where I chose 2...

Once I'm dead, I want to be cremated.
Then I want to be scattered at sea. I want my family to have equal share in scattering my ashes. I want my funeral to be on that boat. I don't want my ash scattering to be only limited to immediate family. I want whoever loves me to be there. I don't want a religious funeral either.

I haven't decided on what I'm doing as far as the other stuff goes. I'm thinking, organ donation.

And as far as passing stuff down... just important things. Mostly heirlooms or what have you. I'm not gonna be bothered with everyday objects, I'll either let my family fight over them or give them away to Good Will.

My biggest fear is being buried alive...and even though I'm dead.

I want to donate my organs.
And I want to be cremated.

It was really hard to choose between cremation and burial, because I hate fire and bugs ( Even though I'm dead). But I'd rather be cremated and have my family keep my ashes.

Although it would be nice if a little bit of my ashes were dropped somewhere I love, like the ocean or the mountains or someplace important to me.

I plan on donating my organs. I meant to check off that box on my license application (in the extraordinarily unlikely case that I die in a car crash in the next 4 years), but I forgot.

After that, I'd like to be creamated. I want a small amount of my ashes mixed with cement and added to the discus ring at my high school because that's my home. That's where I feel most alive. I've been a discus thrower for going on 6 years and I plan on continuing into college with it. Discus is the one thing I love above everything else.

Other than that, just bury my ashes.

I definintly want to be an organ donor. I obviously will have no use for them after I die, and if have the possibility of saving someones life with them, thats fine by me. I also plan on being buried, its just always what my family has done, and I think its a good way to say good bye.

I'm an organ donor, according to my license. So I definitely want to do that when I die. And I think I wanna be buried. I don't know why, but there's just something fascinating about cemeteries. My friends and I found a really really old one when we were being spontaneous one day and driving aimless around. The grave stones were from the 1800's. It's just so incredible that someone who lived during that time is still here, in a way. I don't know. I'm silly.

There's no way you could be buried alive if you are embalmed. They have to cut a main artery to get the blood out of you to put the embalming fluid in. So if you're not dead then you will be afterward. That's why dead people look like wax.

i want my family to have the service they need for the closure they want.

i want my organs harvested. even if they have to do the harvesting while im alive(dying) i think its a very good thing to do. i wont need them anymore, and my heart or liver or kidney could save someones life.
