For me, it's either my mickey ears or a tiara. I like feeling like a princess too :goodvibes

I've been to the park every summer since I was about 4, and I have found that wearing a nicer pair of gym shorts with pockets, and a nice t-shirt is best. You get wet on a lot of rides and I want something that will dry fast, and not smell. I can also throw in a sweatshirt or something if it gets cold later. Dressing up was fun, but everything got wet and was a hot mess by the end of the day. I also make sure I wear comfortable shoes.

~~ I love you Phil and you will forever be with me! Forever my very best and most special friend! I love you to no end. ~~

I like to wear one of my tiaras too. I wear clothing as well.... ;) Although there was more than one day while I was visiting the land, and the weather was hot and humid, no really, and it was to the point where I really felt like ripping my clothes off and tossing them with wild abandon across ROA. But then I reminded myself that this is a G rated park, not burlesque, so I decided against it. I cannot stand hot and humid weather! :faint:

I've always felt that a feather boa was needed for effect in moments like this.;)

I usually wear clothes that are comfortable and more often than not I wear Birkenstocks on my feet. This last trip I bought myself new Minnie Mouse ear headbands every day.:goodvibes

I usually wear my comfy spendex knee length pants with good running shoes or shoes that can get wet in water rides, and a good tshirt or tank top.

Oh and I wear shoes too.... Although there was one time when by the end of the night at the land, my feet were killing me due to my choice of boots, so I took them off half way down Main Street and walked out of the park that way. I walked slowly, but it was better than those darn boots. :faint:

Gotta have my cargo shorts. I am the pack mule for the family so I am always putting everything in them.

I always try to wear,
A Disney Shirt
Jeans
comfy shoes
a light sweater
and my mouse ears
I also always pack a heavier sweater for at night :cool1:

Hi all! I thought I posted this weekend, but it looks like my post didnt go through! lol

When we went in 2010 I wore fitted t-shirts, jeans, and comfortable shoes. We always end up going to DL in June, and I am NOT a Summer person. I also don't wear shorts because I don't think the world needs to see my white legs. :scared1: My new love = maxi skirts, but I don't think they are practical for the parks where we'll be hopping on and off rides!

I do think I need another option though, because the jeans I own are hemmed to fit my "heeled shoes" (boots, dressy heels, etc.) so when I wear them with tennis shoes/flats they drag on the floor like no one's business.

For your wild jean hems, you could always hem them up with that tape that keeps hem in place, you can find it in fabric stores and probably any decent drug store too. Then when you want to wear your jeans with your other shoes, you just remove that tape. Anyway, just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion! I hate the thought of buying jeans hemmed specifically for flats and some for heeled shoes (although I've seen this suggested in magazines several times!). I have a hard time finding jeans that fit my 5', petite frame so I typically just invest in a few pairs of designer jeans and then wash them. It gets too expensive to own too many of them though, so the "buy some for heeled and some for flats" theory doesn't sit well with me. :rotfl:

I usually wear my hiking shorts, a t-shirt and a nice pair of shoes. I'll bring a jacket for the evenings when it gets cold. Sometimes I'll wear a lanyard with a couple of pins.

I also wear sunblock, after all I don't want to look as though I just came out of an easy bake oven, now do I?

My number one rule, NEVER wear shoes and socks to the park. And if you do, you better bring an extra pair of both! I always wear (depending on what time of the year Im there, usually mid May-Sept) cargo shorts a Tshirt and flip flops. That way if you happen to ride something your going to get wet on your not trying to ring out your socks.

A related question (for the ladies out there) what do you wear if you actually want to look good in pictures? I make these super-cute outfits for my girls, but I always end up in jeans and a t-shirt. Is there anyway for us ladies to look nice, cute, not goofy, and still be able to handle the parks all day?

Depends upon ones definition of looking good? For some it is being a size 0 with a Mohawk, while others it is to be dressed like an Eskimo in the middle of summer. For me, it means having my hair done, wearing a tiara and clothing too. For as long as I don't have a refugee look, I am good with it.
