I have long hair and if a tiny bit of damp hits it BOOF its a mass of frizz! Would like to tie my hair up, use scarves etc but dont wanna faff about with it for long. I will be taking my hair straightners but dont want to have to straighten every morning - then by 10am after a water ride or rain shower BOOF. I don't mind it wavey on holiday but not looking like a straw frizz. Last time i tried a beach salt spray but it made it really sticky.....I guess i could plait it....not a major issue but would like my photos to look nice :rolleyes1

Any ideas? 8-)

I have really frizzy hair and just about gave up on our Florida holidays. About eight years ago I discovered Yuko chemical straightning at my local salon - maybe a bit drastic but the difference is unbelievable. I just wash and out through the door. I was a bit doubtful at first but even in the humidity of Orlando I still have poker straight hair (and it's silky/soft!)

Yep same here , I'm so working the Monica from "Friends" frizz in the humidity...

Either I tie it back or use a bit of Keratin Smooth and live with the puff.

Y'all are gonna think I'm a nut...But oh well.

First: I don't rinse out my conditioner. So don't overdo it.

Second: a little dab of coconut oil rubbed on my palms and smoothed through, but not right up to the root so I don't look greasy.

I don't have tight curls, only slightly more curly than a typical "beachy wave." But I can look electrocuted real quick if I don't put in a little effort.

i wash and condition, then i pull it back into a very tight pony tail, then braid that into a very tight braid..

then to smooth it down (or else i'll still look like i put a finger into an electrical socket), i use paul mitchell super sculpt glaze....it's the ONLY stuff that will hold my hair down smooth...

by the way, my hair is long (to my waist), but you'd never know it when it's down....most people think it's shoulder length when it's down since it curls so much..

anyway, in orlando in the summer the only option is to pull it back, braid it and slather on the paul mitchell super sculpt glaze

i buy it where i live (sadly for a LOT of money), but i believe i saw it for sale at walgreens right by WDW...at a much more reasonable price..

I suffer from the same problem, hair is a massive ball of frizz as soon as moisture hits it.
Have found palmer's coconut oil formula leave in conditioner and Basiste stylist frizz no more frizz tamer ( both available from superdrug) amazing .. hair looks frizz free, feels soft and smells amazing for days.

I'm glad it's not just me that has this problem! Especially in the evenings as I spend time getting ready to go out for a meal etc, straightening my hair and I get a toe out of the door and BANG, Monica from Friends here we come!

I have long, curly, fine hair that frizzes in humid climates (and where I live is humid all year), but ever since I started using coconut oil (organic, from the grocery store) on my hair, I haven't had a lot of trouble with frizz. It just takes a tiny amount rubbed through my hair - starting at the ends so less ends up near the roots - because of how fine my hair is, and I'm left with soft, bouncy curls.
