Is 159.89 a good rate for a midsize car. Im going next week for 7 days can't seem to get a lower quote.

Which rental company?
We are paying $162 total for 8 days from Payless - a midsize car (on Expedia). They were way cheaper than anyone else I could find due to the extra day. One week rates are one thing but the extra day adds a lot to the total. I know they are off site, but we arrive at 5:30 pm and are not in a hurry. All we are doing the first night is stopping a a grocery store and settling into out hotel. We are going 10/8 -10/16. So, I would say if your rental company is in the airport, you got a good deal.

For a midsize for 7 days, that's not bad. If that's the total, including taxes and fees, then it's a great rate.

I haven't had a chance to check for you, but did you see this thread...http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=918452. It sounds like you might be able to do better. It is worth the try.
