I was looking at prices for a western Caribbean on the Magic, and the difference between two cat 4's and one cat 3 is around $200 (the cat 3 being more expensive). Is it really worth more than staying in two cat 4's? What would you do? Go for the cat 3 just for the pure reason of experiencing suite life on the ship? Or, for other reasons?

Thanks!!! :)

Well, yes, if my choice was two Cat. 4s or a Cat. 3 I'd go with the Cat. 3. :)

However, the Cat. 3s sleep a maximum of five and you could get two Cat. 6s or even two lower cabin categories and save a bundle over Cat. 4s if you want to sleep five people. You don't need Cat. 4s if you want TWO cabins and have a total of five people. :)

Theres only 4 of us, but we were thinking we might like to be on deck 8 next time. We just got back and had two cat 5's, which were fine. :)

Now, Michelle, please tell me why you'd prefer the cat 3? Is it the priority boarding, concierge service, larger bathroom, expanded room service menu, or double/triple wide verandah that you like most? Wow, sounds kinda nice when you think about it. ;)
