We are going to be going to WDW at the end of July. We currently have ressies for two nights that POFR and are planning two fun-filled days at MK. Would it be worth it for me to get the disney club card? I know it is only $40, but would the savings while we are there be worth it? I do shop at the disney store, but not a great deal as there is not one close to us. I'm all for saving money and if this would help, I will take it. We have a ressie in Daytona Beach one night while we are there, would there be anyway of getting a cheaper ressie through the dc while we are there?

Most of the money I have saved with it has been at the Disney Store! AAA does the tickets to, but only certain ones. We use it to get our passes at the Disney store. Find out how much you will save on the passes to see if it's worth it. Some resturants take it too (10% off) Also Downtown Disney at the Disney Store...........it's a great place.

Thanks ceecee for your info.

I'm going to try and bump this back up to the top to see if I can get anymore replies, I really need to know something on this today.

I doubt it is going to save you money on two nights since you can probably find a code on mousesavers that is cheaper than the DC rate. I am a DC member, but don't think it has saved me any money. I got a code on our rooms that was much cheaper than the DC rate. I bought my passes through Connections which offered a much greater discount. I haven't shopped at the Disney store, etc... I do hope to get a discount on mini-golf while I am in Orlando. I still don't regret the membership because I have enjoyed getting all the mailings since I joined last summer.

If I understand right you will be buying 1-day 1-park tickets for your days at the MK? If that is the case, the DC membership won't get you a discount on your tickets - they don't offer one on the 1-day tickets. You can get a little bit of a break if you buy tickets for both days at the same time and ask for the bounce-back deal. This will get you about $5 off the ticket for the second day.

I agree that you can probably get a better room rate with one of the codes on mousesavers. I believe that www.wdwig.com has a complete list of the DC membership perks. Hope this helps.:)

I just thought of something else to consider. The DC card is an entertainment club card that can get you discounts on quite a few hotels outside the Orlando area. I think the discount would be about 50% but I haven't used that feature myself. Just something to consider for your hotel stay in Daytona.:)

I also use mine at the Disney Store online. There's a place to check the box at checkout for 10% off.
