What do you think? Too much or sneak all that I can in?

We are a busy family this year with DD 8 playing softball on Tuesdays and Sat nights and DD 11 playing on Wed and Fri nights, as well as being on a traveling team that practices Tues, Wed, and Fri mornings from 9-11 (out of town), and then plays on the weekends. SO the only ball free days I have are usually Mon and Thurs.

I just decided last week to have a garage sale a week from tom.

My parents and sisters family wanted to spend a few days in the Ozarks at the lake. I didnt feel like I could tell them no since we are going to WDW with my inlaws in Aug.

I am thinking of throwing a short trip to ALaska in there too. What do you think?

Here's a BRIEF rundown of what it would be like. I need to know if you think this is too much to handle, and then turn around 4 days later and go the other direction.

7/06-7/10 End of ball season tournament
7/14/7/16 Lake of the Ozarks
7/20-7/27 ALASKA TRIP?????????
8/2-/12 WDW

I have a friend up there so I wouldnt need to pay for a place to stay.

Sounds like fun to me! Just hope you are not too exhausted to enjoy them all (especially since WDW is at the end!). Can I come? I've always wanted to see Alaska and the Ozark Mountains... and of course, I LOVE WDW..................P

Depends on your kids really. Can they handle that much travel? If they are the go, go, go type of kids and will still enjoy WDW after the first two trips then I'd definitely squeeze Alaska in the mix. That's just way too cool a place to pass up unless you have to!

It does seem like a lot, but if you think your girls can handle it, go for it. The lake is such a laid back place; you should just go and have a good time, unless it's a really long drive for you. If you're in Osage Beach, I highly recommend the restaurant On the Rise. We just discovered it a few months ago and it's FABULOUS, for breakfast or lunch.

What kind of trip to Alaska are you planning? You seem to be not too sure about it and I wouldn't really think Alaska could be a "last-minute" thing. We took a cruise there last summer and it was beautiful. We had it booked months earlier, as airfare can be quite expensive. Plus there was a lot of planning involved. I want to add to that it took us about 2 weeks to recover from the time change in Alaska. The change is only 3 hours, but when you consider that it's light there until 1am, it really makes a difference. So, you may want to save that for next summer.

Sounds like my normal life. LOL. I got back from Vacation in Europe last Tuesday at 6 pm. At 8 am Wed I flew to Atlanta for business. Flew home Friday, spent Saturday at the US Gymnastics Championship, flew back to Atlanta for business Monday. I will return home Friday to entertain my Dad and his wife for the weekend!

Actually, my only concern is Alaska. That is high season and if you have not booked transport etc... DO IT NOW!

The girls will be going to the Ozarks with me as well as hubby. However, the Alaska trip is MINE! The girls will stay with gma/daddy.

DH and I went there for my friends wedding 3 years ago. Then I went back in March of 2002.

My friends step mom is dying from cancer...........and other things in life. SHe was here for Christmas so I didnt know if I should go since we were just together and I have this big WDW trip planned.

Sorry for any confusion.
