Nahhh - you can make a lot more money posing as the heir from multi-millionaires who died in tragic accidents overseas or helping businessmen and deposed political leaders transfer millions of dollars out of foreign bank accounts into yours. Why make a few thousand a week when you can make millions.

Welll... you could... but I applied for that job last week! I'm sure my money will start rolling in any day now... After all, why wouldn't it? :lmao:

Nah. I'd hold out for a position with a Nigerian consultancy. They pay much better.

Yes. Accept immediately. If nothing more, you can at least help them with grammar and punctuation. "Push the button"!!!!

I SWEAR I read a post from some one -on this board-or Ann landers (??) who DID this and is broke and under investigation!:scared1:

I'm soooo glad I don't have to apply for jobs like that. I found out last week I'm related to a Nigerian prince! :dance3: I'll be living the high life as soon as I fork over $10,000 so the prince can come visit me. :woohoo:

;)

Actually they may take you up on this - every now and then I will reply to these with something completely off the wall. Once I replied to one of these scam emails with a critique. I pointed out a number of flaws. For example, the person sending the email was supposedly British but the grammer was so horrible that no one would believe that any native English speaker would have written it. The also had the names of some Government agencies incorrect etc. etc. So I had gone through the email, line by line, explaining why it was unbelievable and why no one would fall for it.

Two days later I got a reply, asking me if I would help him write his emails - I decided that being a ghost write for scam emails was not the career path that I wished to pursue so I didn't respond.

I have got a few of these emails myself- strange!! There was a job posting in the Buffalo News something like along the lines of this. They wanted someone to handle their payments that customers send in. They would send it to you directly, you put it in your bank acccount, keep your commission and send the company the rest.

I couldn't even believe the newspaper would allow such a posting.

I'd make more money printing my own.

;)

not that I'd engage in such illegal activity
