Having never been to DLP or Paris, I would love your input on our rough plans for our visit before I ring up to make dining and tour reservations. As I'll be calling international from Australia, I only want to make one phone call! So here goes:

Wed 12 Dec
We're scheduled to get picked up by Ezy shuttle from our Paris apartment (near Louvre) at 8am. I'm allowing 1.5 hours to get to the Disneyland Hotel. Is this reasonable? I hope I am then able to check in, get our tickets, dump our bags and be at Salon Mickey by 10am for a quick snack before hitting Disneyland.
Aiming for dinner at Walt's

Thu 13 Dec
This is our day to do the studios.
Dinner is planned at Annette's

Fri 14 Dec
We are hoping to complete whatever rides/shows we didn't get to see on the first 2 days or revisit our favourites.
We plan on booking a tour of Disneyland which I believe start at 1pm (or maybe 2?) Would it be too ambitious to have lunch at Blue Lagoon? Or would it be better to swap this around with Annettes?
We have bought tickets for Buffalo Bills during the flash sale and we're really looking forward to that!

Sat 15 Dec
If the weather is ok, we were planning to hire a car and go on a day trip around the sights close to DLP eg Château de Fontainebleaue, Barbizon, Provins. And then the plan is to have a character dinner at Inventions. Where would be the best place to hire a car near DLP?

Sun 16 Dec
Our train for Montpellier leaves at 12pm. The plan is for early breakfast, hit the parks for one last time (hoping that there will EMH) and then checking out to catch out train.

Your thoughts and comments and greatly appreciated!

My first thought is, you can email to book the tour of the park, or you can wait until your first day at DLP and book it at City Hall.

Also, in mid-December the parks will be quiet so you won't need to reserve your restaurant tables by phone in advance either, you can wait until you get to your hotel or City Hall on your first morning and book it all there :).

Thanks for taking the time to post! I wasn't sure whether the low crowds of the season would prevail or if it would be busy gearing up towards Christmas. Handy to know that I don't have to book so far in advance!

Hi shushh
Wow exciting its getting close for you. Will be following along avidly given we are now going late May (haven't booked tix yet waiting to see what next sales do now we are confirmed as being over there). Woo hoo.

Aussie Wendy thanks for dropping in! Yay for your trip to Europe! I think it's a lovely time to go. How long will you be there for? Ms Shuttergirl will be heading over in April so it might be a good idea to steal her itinerary :)

Your dinner plans look good.

Keep in mind you can't book Annettes. It's also worth noting that as it's off-season, there's a chance Walts or Blue Lagoon might be shut for dinner so it's worth having a backup plan!

I'm visiting the same week and was just going to book my meals at my hotel when I get there. it's rare that places will be fully booked at that time of year.

I believe you can pick-up Hertz rental cars from the station if you book in advance.

Thank you! Will formulate a back up plan for dining and look up Hertz.

We will be away 5 weeks including transit times but have several friends and rellies to visit in the UK so always spend time with them. Fly into Paris to start the trip off with DL then hopefully Eurostar to UK for a couple of weeks including a whirlwind trip around parts of Scotland, before flying out to Barcelona and 11 nights in Spain. Actually struggling to fit everyone we should/want to see in but we keep putting Scotland on the back burner and visiting Spain is ticking off a long-held bucket list - Barcelona, Seville and the Alhambra in Granada. We have booked apartments in Barcelona and Seville so can shop at markets as well as eat out and veg in the air con cool during siesta with some space rather than in a cramped hotel room. DD is hoping to join us for at least the latter half including Spain if she can get the time off. Into the exciting planning bit now! Your trip looks wonderful too! I haven't read PIO PTR for ages-must revisit.
