Some Mexican Air Force flyers on patrol for drug traffickers may have intercepted something far more exotic.

They videotaped fast-moving lights that seemed to be flying in a rough formation tracking their plane.

The pilot says that they first saw one light, then three, then up to 16 lights were following them.

The pilot says that he was not able to get close enough to identify the unidentified flying objects, but said that he has never seen anything like it.

The plane was on routine patrol over the Campeche region of Mexico looking for drug-related aircraft.

Wow, that is a little freaky. I wish I could have understood what the report was saying. The volume was so low and I couldn't hear anything. It sounded like it was in spanish anyway.

I think there is no doubt a terrestrial explanation..........although we may never really know what it is.

in the vastness of uthe universe, it's ridiculous to assume that ours is the only planet populated with intelligent life.

but as for what the Mexicans saw...I just don't know.

While I would find it extraordinary that we are alone in the universe, I can't imagine that an "intelligent" life-form would somehow make it to our little insignificant planet at this stage in our development. Our radio waves have not even made it to the end of our galaxy let alone to any other galaxies........the vastness of space is phenomenal.
I am sure there is an earthly explanation for your sighting!

I just saw the story on my local 12:00p news.

They provided a bit more info.

They said that only 3 could be seen on the radar and that they suddenly disappeared.

Did you ever notice that in the 90's, there were TONS of UFO reports...and now there's hardly any? Wonder why that is.

It seemed in one view there was some sort of trail behind the objects. I wonder if they could have been meteors?
