Let me know what you think!! We are staying at the Pop Century and we have 3 kids (Ages 10, 7 and almost 3). We aren't huge eaters, so I am planning only one big meal a day. The others will be counter service, etc.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Kayla

I will be at WDW the same week!! Do you have rest time built into your schedule each day? The kids will get really tired and will probably need a rest away from the parks. Also, based on the ages of your children, I would plan to spend a LOT more time at MK. This is the park that kids of all ages just love. Have a great trip!!

We are going the same week too!! We have kids around the same age as your younger two. Everything looks good to me except that I agree with dawgsgirl, I don't think you have enough time at MK. Of course you can use your off day for that, but I think you could also use some of the allotted Epcot time--pretty boring for the kids and lots and lots of walking. We spent 4 of 7 days at MK our last trip in December. There is just so much more to do there. Have a great time!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I have three kids ages 9, 6, and 3. We have taken them twice. You have got to schedule some rest time during your day. My kids just couldn't handle park hopping even just for fireworks or dinner. For example, after our day at AK, they just wanted to go swim at the pool.

I disagree with the previous poster about Epcot. My kids LOVE Epcot. They love the rides and exploring the different countries. We pretty much snacked our way around Epcot.

We love the Sci-Fi and RFC, and I'm sure your kids will too. Is your DS a princess and castle fan? I noticed your going there for his b'day. MK has a great buffet with Pooh and pals at Crystal Palace. My DS adored it. But, Cindy's is definitely something to do at least once.

Your kids will love Blizzard Beach. My kids said that was the best part of their last trip! It sure was the most relaxing part.

You'll have a great time! Just try not to do too much.

We'll be down there around the same time, too. I don't think scheduling some breaks will be a problem in Sept. The park hours are longer than they normally are in Sept because of Wishes every night. The parks should be pretty slow - so, I think you'll be able to get a lot done each day & this will allow for the extra down time in the afternoons, when needed.

It's just me & my hubby, but we still go back to the hotel daily for a swim or a short break. It feels good to clean up a bit in the heat before heading out to another park.

Have Fun! :)

We'll be there the same week and staying at SSR 9/19-9/24 then POP 9/24-9/25. Our kids are close in age to yours and we found that they really like the time to just swim and have fun. We've done swim time in the morning if we had no breakfast plans or going back to a one of the parks for a 2nd time where we could go later in the day. Every night the kids swam which was nice for us.

We ended up at MK more than once during our week long trip last August. AK, MGM and Epcot we got through in less time and the kids were in the pool most of the afternoon for a quick break before heading off to dinner.

Hope everyone enjoys there vacation.

Missy

We are definately planning on letting the kids (and us too!) take a break every afternoon. They'll be miserable if we don't! They love swimming, so I'm sure we will be doing lots of that!!

I don't know what I was thinking when I scheduled CRT on DS's birthday!! My oldest two are girls and I still feel new to this boy thing!! I didn't think about it!! I have been trying to call and switch it to a different day and schedule the Crystal Palace for that day. But, so far I haven't had any luck!!

This is our second trip. Our first trip was only a one day trip to the Magic Kingdom though! So, I'm kind of unsure (yet excited)about the other parks! I think I will take that Thursday and make it a Magic Kingdom day. Because we may end up going back to the WS at night sometimes.

Also, right now DH and I are looking into getting us AP's, so that we can back ALONE sometime next year!!! I feel kind of guilty even thinking that, but boy it would be FUN. And of course I'd bring back the little ones some AWESOME SOUVENIERS!

THANKS AGAIN!!
Keep the great tips coming!
Kayla

We'll be there the same week too!!

It looks like a great plan. The only comment I have is to make sure you have a way to get back to your hotel planned out on the night you are going to trail's end and the campfire. The boat back to the MK will not be running when you get done.
Your best bet may be to take a taxi back to your hotel. Otherwise your going to have to take a bus to Downtown Disney and then catch another bus from there back to your hotel.
Very lengthy at the end of a long Day!

Good point!! I haven't thought about transportation. I'm glad you mentioned that!! We will be renting a car to our stay, so maybe driving ourselves would be the best way to go.

THANKS!
Kayla

It looks great to me.We will be there the week before you.Have a ball!!! April:Pinkbounc
