keep in mind we booked this vacation late in the game and I just made reservations the last two days for 77 days out!

Day 1 -Ohana's
So our arrival day is October 24th. We will be in Magic Kingdom that day.
We have dinner reservations as Ohanas. I couldn't not get a decent time there and our reservation is currently at 930PM. I'm hoping we will all be running on adrenaline and not be too tired. I'm a night owl anyway but the kids are not so much. We went to Ohanas last year and it was our favorite meal of the entire stay!

Day 2- Biergarten at normal dinner time!
Spending the day in Epcot. For lunch we will graze on Food and wine festival foods. The festival is new for us and so is Biergarten. We have never ate there before so trying something new.

Day 3 - Animal Kingdom...Tuskar house at 920
Last year I was able to get one for 800 before the park opened. This year I figure it doesn't matter much. There are extra magic hours that day anyway. So again this is a repeat of last year but we liked it.
Yak and Yeti for lunch- I know a lot of people have mixed reviews on this but I loved it.
We only use a day in this park and then go to Downtown disney for the evening.

Day 4- Hollywood studios.
I never feel like there is anything good to eat here. We are going to eat lunch at Starring rolls or maybe abc for the kids. Then We made reservations that night at Boma around 5pm. We have never ate here before so branching out. Plus I thought it would give us a chance to see the Animal kingdom lodge.

Day 5- Back to Magic Kingdom Finally! I could stay there most of the days and be just fine and happy!
We are going to the Wilderness lodge this day to the whispering canyon cafe. We never made it there when we stayed at WL last year. Planning on doing lunch there and a qs later in the park for dinner. Hopefully something will be open. We are doing the Mickeys not so scary halloween parade that night.

Day 6- Epcot
We are doing akershus for dinner. We did this last year too. My daughter will love the princesses. I'm sure she would be just as happy meeting them in the parks but oh well. I liked the mushroom ravioli thing they have. Mmmmmmmmmmm

Day 7- Magic Kingdom...going home day

Overall it looks pretty good. Haunt the on-line reservations for an earlier Ohana ADR time, of course, right up until the day you arrive. Some people will probably cancel just at the 24-hour window mark.

Are you on the DDP? Looks like you have 7 TS meals and only 6 nights' stay. Or is that Yak & Yeti the CS rather than the TS? The TS has the same menu all day so you can have a pretty late "lunch" after that 9:20 breakfast.

Biergarten - I really like this location. The theming is great and the food is pretty good too. And it seems to work well for picky eaters. Pretzel bread.......mmmm.....

Yeah, stick with Starring Rolls for lunch at DHS. Let the kids share in your monster dessert cupcakes. And Boma is a good dinner option too. It might actually be more fun to explore the AKL after dinner - there are storytellers at the fire pit at night, and the CMs have night vision goggles to see the animals on AKL's savannahs, plus all the African art inside the AKL.

WCC is not my fave for food but is a good environment for kids, and the endless milkshake is an available beverage on the DDP. Might as well get a good sugar high going in to MNSSHP.

Love Akershus for PSB dinner! Of course my DD4 loved it, but even my DS2.5 enjoyed getting his photo with Belle. And I enjoyed the delicious food. Just booked a "last minute" Veterans' Day weekend visit, so we couldn't get into Akershus for dinner this trip. But we're trying breakfast there instead.

Enjoy your trip!

The yak and yeti will be a quick service meal but thanks for asking. I would hate too book too many and pay out of pocket...way too expensive for some of these

i will be sure to try this pretzel bread i hear about...is there cheese dipping sauce?

I remember liking starring rolls but not sure about kid choices there. oh and sharing the giant cupcake :( lol Its mine!! mine! Mine I tell ya....oh they are sooo good! I know they are big enough to share but do i have to? lol

the WCC is more my husbands idea. i'm going along with it just to see wilderness lodge again...good point about the sugar rush before the halloween party!

The pretzel bread is great, but I don't think there is cheese dipping sauce. There is mac and cheese, so maybe you could use that?

About your arrival day...are you driving or flying? 'Ohana is a $10/person no show fee venue now, so if you're flying and something happens that you don't get in, you may be charged $10/person. My family tries to avoid the credit card guarantee places for the first night in case something happens that makes up delayed in our arrival.

Regarding Day 5 (with the Halloween Party) some of the CS places do not remain open for the party (e.g., Columbia Harbor House, I think) and some have a reduced menu (e.g., Cosmic Rays). So if you want the widest selection possible eat before the party! That being said, the party is a lot of fun! :cool1:

I agree. We are 70 days out and I did not book a dinner ressie that requires a credit card for the day we arrive for this very reason. We are scheduled to land at MCO at about 9:00 am but still, you just never know what might happen. Also, agree with pp who said to keep checking the online reservation system because people cancel and an earlier time might open up. Just this week I was able to switch our Ohana ressie from 9:15 pm to 8:00 pm. :thumbsup2
