our plane arrives in orlando at 11:23 AM so i think well be ready in our hotel (CSR) at ~ 2pm ? what do you think of then going to BB or TL and then to DTD in the evening ?

Sounds fun, but I have two concerns. One, in the heat of summer, you run the real risk of the water parks being full by 2pm. Even if you can get in, I would expect long lines for all the slides and trouble getting a seat. Two, I'm always beat after flying. I'm not sure I would want to tackle a water park right away. Have you thought of just doing DTD at a leisurly pace and getting dinner there or at a resort hotel? Then you could make an early night of it and hit the parks bright and early the next morning. JMHO. Enjoy!

I agree with merriwind.
Water parks will be packed. Maybe DTD and DQ or just some shopping and a nice dinner, with swimming before bed at the resort. That will relax everyone and the atmosphere in DTD is great and will get you in the Disney mode very quickly. :flower:

well we're only flying from boston so the flight shouldn't beat me up too much.

going only to DTD sounds neat and so on but i only have 5 full days and want to do the 4 theme parks + 2 water parks... :/

YIKES!
You are going to be running! I'm sure you will have a blast no matter what you do. Maybe you can combine a couple of parks in one day then.
If you take advantage of EMH and EE, then you should be OK. :flower:

I disagree - 2-3 is a great time to go to the water parks - they typically do fill up early - but they start to quiet down around 3...we love to go in around then and then stay til close. Way more people are leaving than coming and we are often able to do so much more than when we are there at opening.

I would take my time getting to the water park and then enjoy it until whenever...back to the room and then see how you feel about dinner and downtown Disney.

yea thank you liz, i luv you ;-)

any other opinions agreeing with going to waterparks at 2 is cool ?

Going later in the PM is sometimes preferable to going at opening. People tend to start leaving after 4-5 hours in the park. So 2 PM might be fine.

On the downside, afternoon thunderstorms are the norm. If you can bear some rain/downpours, you should be okay. If there is thunder and lightning, I believe no one is allowed in the water.
