At SSR in a 2 br????? Wishful thinking?? I know last year we stayed the same week at SSR and we had a waitlist for a day or two and it came in but I think we booked it a month or two before now. Hmmmmm crazy probably huh???

Are you meaning this year???? Well, I am not sure how November is going, but we still have an awfully long list of people on waitlists on our December waitlist thread.

When I checked last week for 2 bdrm SSR it was just the 25th that wasn't available. I find that a little odd. I know a lot can happen with availability with a week's time but I think still think there's a chance for you. I had my BWV F&W festival room get blocked on a Tuesday and it came through. What is it with Tuesday?

Okay I called and the 24th was NOW available and IT IS DEDICATED. WOOOOHOOOOO. SO now I am waitlisted for my last 2 nights....and if I don't get them..we are only paying cash for our two rooms at CBR for 2 nights.

thanks.....I am happy. I doubt we will get the last two days so I am at peace with moving but am THRILLED we get to stay at home again this Nov. Last year we stayed at SSR for the same week....but I booked in time to get all 8 nights we wanted. Fingers and toes are crossed though.

Well we are in a dedicated and so our waitlist is for that I think. I am not sure. I should call probably. THen I added OKW today....didn't specify there either. I guess I will be calling again.

I was able to get our last two nights at OKW now...I was on the waitlist for a dedicated at both SSR and OKW and I called today and there were two nights in a lockoff at OKW available so I took those and now we don't have to go to CBR. We at least get to stay DVC all the way. I did keep my last two nights waitlisted for SSR though. I want to keep them waitlisted together now because I don't want to move for ONE NIGHT TO OKW so I won't be calling every day. I would rather at least move for 2 nights.

Thanks Bobbi......I am feeling pretty good about this. I only made the ressie on Sat. Plus if we have to move....the kids loved OKW Community Hall so that will work too. I am getting so excited.

It's because you only need 2 nights that I do think you'll get it. I was able to get a Friday to Monday studio stay at VWL at less than 2 months out for September with a waitlist, and I think it was because it was for such a short stay.
