I like it just the way it is myself!!!:(

se is one of my favorite rides. i would be very sad if they changed it.

This is how I feel about it

caity, I borrowed your image. LOL

It's one of my favorite rides too. I hate to see it go. But that just means I need to make lots of trips to WDW before its gone. :D

I love that photo, Caity.

I love SSE just the way it is but I loved Mr. Toad's Wild Ride too and you know what happened to that :(

In general I try not to get too worried about these things until they are officially announced, but I must admit that this rumor's got me uptight. Spaceship Earth is my favorite attraction at WDW, and it just wouldn't be the same if they changed the ride. I love the new Pooh ride, so I try to be optimistic about change, but I hope they leave SSE alone.

Spaceship Earth needs nothing more than a little mechanical improvement--it breaks down far too often!! It is absolutely my favorite ride and I will be VERY disappointed if it is indeed replaced.

I feel the same way. SSE and the American Adventure are the core of Epcot. I don't think either should ever be completely revamped.

LOL, wvjules!

CBD... I don't think it breaks down all that often. Are you referring to when it stops for a minute or two every so often? I think that's usually because they have to stop it in order to help a handicapped (or wheelchair-bound or disabled or abled or whatever) person on. So they COULD improve that, maybe by making lots of separate chains of cars with spaces in between, but that might decrease the carrying capacity for the ride. I don't mind stopping, because I get to study the details of the scenes even more when that happens.

It would be very sad to see them mess with SE. I agree, it's Epcot's identity. It really doesn't need a revamp.:(

I think it needs a bit of refurb so the sound is a little clearer, and maybe a touch of updating, but as a whole I love it as-is! They don't exactly have the best track-record when it comes to replacing beloved attractions, IMHO... so the idea of them changing SE makes me very nervous.

I honestly think I would cry if they really gutted it and brought in a whole new ride. I haven't minded the refurbishments they have made over the years but to completely get rid of it would break my heart.

You could probably buy some of the Old parts on E Bay!
