I'm a DLR first-timer. I've been going back and forth about where we are going to stay for our August trip. Our party consists of four adult women, ranging in age from 34 to 65. Our preferences are to have a room of reasonable size so that we aresn't crowded, a decent pool (doesn't have to be fancy), a continental breakfast to cut down on costs, and a reasonable price.
After much searching, the two best options in our preferred price range that fit all of the above are the Comfort Inn and Suites and the Hampton Inn and Suites. I know that both are a little farther, but that is fine. We are leaning more towards the Hampton Inn.
Anyway, has anyone ever stayed at either one? How were they? Also, if anyone has other suggestions that fit the bill, I'd appreciate it. Candy Cane Inn seemed nice, but it's a little pricier than we wanted to pay. Portofino was nice as well, but alas, no continental breakfast. And the Peacock's rooms seemed very small and the pool looks horrible.
I'm really driving myself crazy with all this planning. I'm much more comfortable with WDW, as that is more familiar to me. I just need to make a decision and be done with it.
