My counsins are "crushed" beacuse of the Living Seas being re-done.This is their first trip to WDW and they wanted to see Crush. Anyone find this weird?

People's tastes really are different. I love Living Seas. That's the great thing about Disney-there's a lot to choose from and everybody will find something they like.
I'm excited to see the changes next year.
The Living Seas is something I skipped for the longest time. When I finally went in I did enjoy it, but it could use a lot of revamping. There's no traffic flow and you're constantly running into people. Something more interactive would be nice. I wonder if they would consider a dolphin show or something.
I think it needs rehabbed badly. We skipped it for YEARS - so long I didn't remember any of it. returned in may and the only good thing it's got going is Turtle Talk with Crush. Bottleneck traffic issues, no place to line up for the Crush show, just a bad set-up.
I hope they are able to work some major magic on it! it needs it! Disney deserves to have a MUCH better aquarium than that.
I am sorry families will be disappointed by it's closing, but there is just no way to rehab things without closing it while someone is vacationing there. Just one more thing to hit next trip!
It need work badly. We will miss it though in October, my kids love fish...any size, shape or color. We hope to still catch Nemo outside for some photo ops.
Like others we avoided the Living seas exhibt for years and only visited this past week to see crush. The place is in need of a serious rehab. Other than the crush show, which was great but as someone else said has a horrible line up, the place was drab and depressing. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
I can say that the highlight of Living Seas was the fishtank with a few "Nemo" clownfish in it. Pretty sad by even a little out-of-the-way aquarium's standards. We will probably stop by to show our friends the crashing wave fountian outside, but will not go in.
I hope the rehab means they'll be adding that Disney spark back in.
My boyfriend and I love the movie and the hydrolator. "It rained, and rained, and rained..." We miss the ride, since that has been gone it is not the same. I agree that there is no traffic flow pattern and the exhibits are blah. We do love the manatees. Used to love the underwater suit you can get in and use the hands, but it is sadly gone.
Crush is so good though- it should have a direct enterance from the outside during the rehab to keep it open...we will be there in September and miss it greatly!
Everytime we go my dh and I point out where the ride was to our kids. Crush was great but I agree with others that said the line up was really bad. I don't think they realized Crush' poularity. We always notice that the last 3 visits the fish population in the bid tanks are dwindling. I do hope Disney can make some magic!!

seems to think that Disney might be bringing back the seacabs for a Nemo ride.
I hope so.
