I also hope this ends before our trip in November. I would not pay that much money for 3 rides, I'll just try and get fastpasses if I want to ride those. My question is this though. Say I have a BOG ADR on one of these days at 8am? They also let you in a little prior to 8 correct? So say we go back and ride a quick ride before our breakfast or even eat real quick and hop over there at 8:30 or something... how do they differentiate us from the people who paid for this special access? I'm not saying we would do this, I don't even plan on eating breakfast at BOG but I just don't understand how they would stop people from doing that.

Those who pay for the EMM event will get a sticker to identify them. Only they will be allowed to ride before park opening.

Oh ok, I missed that detail. That makes sense that they can differentiate. I still think it's ridiculous! LOL!

I'd do it if I had an extra $350 to burn. I could see the appeal. Wipe FL out, and then move on and wipe out Frontier and Adventureland all by 10. Then tomorrow land by lunch, and off to another park. Would be ideal if you were doing a 2-3 day trip. I don't see any value for anyone staying 4+days.

Event people will have a special "sticker"

I wonder if you can pay extra for a special special sticker? Fully customizable. :)

Good question.

Nah, not worth it. If it included more rides, yeah maybe. But it isn't worth it for three rides, two of which I don't care about.

Don't have kids. I am just not an early bird. There will be some who will like the idea of getting in multiple rides on SDMT and will pay just for that, they do have a breakfast thrown in.
Seven Dwarfs is a fun ride but riding once is enough for us.

I feel like this was asked earlier, but have not seen a reply (maybe I missed it? maybe no one knows?): Will MK still do their usual "Welcome Show" at regular park opening? I think it's usually at 8:40?

the welcome show will still be performed around 8:40

The people who paid for the "event" will have a special sticker that they have to show to ride

There is NO way I would do this. Too expensive for the little you get. Will it never end?
Our last trip was just 5 months ago, and now I pop on DIS to see what new things are going on and it's like "Yikes!". Too much to keep up with! We won't be back for quite some time, and I can't imagine all the prep work I will have to do. I will need the DISboards more than ever!
Not as long as there's a market for it. Again, I'm not judging anyone who wants to do this, it's your choice.
Disney will continue to offer things like this as long as they see profit. When they stop seeing profit that's when they will stop.

Whoever guessed 750 ticket sold that sounds about right
I wonder what the capacity for Pinocchio's Village Haus is. Imagine everyone that bought the tickets heading for breakfast around the same time, after 9am before 10am.

Exactly.

I anticipate this will be popular because of the rides involved and the breakfast option giving it a sense of "value".

And if it is popular they will offer this for other lands .. especially the new lands once they open up. This is a way to add more "capacity" to popular rides since some people struggle getting Fast Passes for them.

I bet you'll see this for Epcot with the new Frozen ride ... and the new lands in AK and DHS ..but probably will be even more expensive since all those rides will be hot commodities.

So .. if you stay offsite and couldn't get a FP for them at 30 days, you still have the option of early morning entry.

It should sell pretty well.

My husband and I just booked a last minute trip for a long weekend over Memorial Day weekend. I booked this immediately! That Saturday is our only one in MK. This way we open up fastpasses that we were going to use for Peter Pan (my weakness, I will wait over an hour for this) and Mine Train and get on these at least once each (but hopefully a lot more for the price!). I plan to head right into Fairytale Hall to meet Anna and Elsa at 9 AM to beat the rush (no fastpasses were available with our late booking) and then head over for our buffet breakfast. Since we don't have to finagle with kids I'd assume we'll be outta there in 20 minutes or less and we can finish up the rest of what we want to do in Fantasyland and be on our way! The park is open til 11 PM that day so now we'll have a full day from 10 AM til 11 PM to not even have to bother with Fantasyland! And now I have fastpasses for other rides that could be super packed. Win!

I bet you'll see this for Epcot with the new Frozen ride ...

During our trip December 2014 we had an ADR at Akershus in Norway for breakfast with the Princesses. I could easily see that turning into a full-on princess morning with Breakfast, FEE ride and A&E meet & greet.

You're so right about them opening this up with the other new rides coming, especially in Epcot with the Frozen attractions. But I will honestly say, I might consider paying for it for the Frozen attractions in Epcot if I couldn't get fast passes. This MK one doesn't appeal to me, these rides aren't super important to me or anyone in my family to make it worth paying $200. However, my daughter is Frozen obsessed and if that was the only way she could meet A&E and ride Frozen Ever After then I would probably consider it for that.

That would be me that guessed 750! :) I feel validated coming from you, an "insider". LOL :D

I think on the other thread, someone said capacity at Pinocchio's is 400? So if there's a rush after 9 am for everyone that got their fill of early access to rides, and maybe 1/3 of the people choose to just skip the breakfast, there's a chance they could fill to capacity - and then what - they make people wait to come inside for their breakfast? That is a disaster waiting to happen. Maybe a 750 limit is too high? But you know they'll sell as many as they can. I just don't get the math on this one.
