Hello :)
A little over two weeks and we're headed to WDW!!! I am sooo excited.

I was wondering if you could tell me what you bring into the parks with you. We're taking our 3yo dd and it's the first time we've been to WDW with her... I know we'll need more stuff than we used to!

Also, what kind of bag do you bring all your stuff in? Thanks so much!!

We took one backpack with:

sunscreen, small package of baby wipes, diapers (DD1), water bottles (we didn't mind the park's water), ziploc bag for things like credit cards, tickets, etc (things we didn't want to get wet), ponchos, camera, hats, small package of crayons (for those times DD needed something to do), maps of the park, light up necklaces for evening parades (bought at Target), ziploc of small tissues and bandages

We also took an umbrella stroller for DD.

Have a fabulous time!:woohoo:

One more suggestion would be an extra shirt for her (just in case one of those yummy Disney snacks decides to attack her as she eats it)

:earsboy:

We usually rent a Disney Double Stroller.

When My DS7 was about 4-5 he'd sit in on side and we'd haul our stuff in the other.

Stuff...
Sunscreen, extra Cloths for kids...Food...PBJ sandwiches, snacks, Water, Frozen kool-aide sqweeze drinks (great when they are slushy.) Extra Batteries! for Camera. (Extra-Film...or Memory Sticks). One time we even bought extra Chick-fil-a Chicken Biscuits on the way in...made a great snack.

Disney food prices are too much for 3 meals.

Only remember whatever you bring in you have to carry. We tried bringing snacks and drinks into the park, lasted 1 time because I'm usually the one who has to lug or push the stuff around. Now we bring 1 back pack. Usually just has 1 bottle of water for each, extra shirts for the kids and wipes. Maybe a few small toiletres like sunblock, chapstick and tissues.
After 6 or 7 hours pushing a double stroller through the park, I felt like I had gone 5 rounds with Ali.

Whimp! :lmao:

Just kidding!

Me and DW would alternate pushing
Most of our stuff is contained in 1 Back pack and 1 zip-up cooler. And the stuff made a nice head rest for DS.

We also took in Misty Mate spray fans, single serve drink mixes (Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, etc to add to the bottled water we brought from our room-cheaper than soday), water sandals & swim diaper (for the kids fountain areas), hats and sunglasses for everyone, lollipops (kept DS2 quiet in line for a while), small bubble container, park tickets, advil/tylenol, walkie talkies, cell phones, cortaid/neosporin, email addresses (for emailing pics in Innoventions), Tide to Go pen, tissues, disposable bibs and the restaurant lists I had typed up (from All Ears-I'm a VERY picky eater so I always go through the menus online and write down where I can eat in each park and what they have that I like to eat so I can send DH in for it while I stay with DS).

Water
sunscreen
fruit chews
crackers
ponchos
hand sanitizer,
camera,
extra socks,
autograph book,
pens,
my book that has reservation, schedule of fireworks, etc
I'll probably think of some more things

We always take first and foremost our cameras then we also take our lunches we pack a lunch in the morning for the family and bring it with us to eat. Then we freeze some water bottles and take those they pull double duty as they thaw we drink them but while frozen they keep our lunch cool in the cooler backpack we bring.

I know trenner, I'm getting so wooshy! My dh & I spent our anniversary in NYC and I wanted to catch a cab to go 2 blocks. Of course I volunteered to sacrafice myself to carry any thing he wanted to purchase out of Tiffany's. :cloud9:
Heading back to the world in November since the kids are out of school. I'm looking for one of those back packs with wheels on it.

Enjoy your upcoming trip.

My list:

Before kids

Dh (then boyfriend) took his wallet so he kept all our money on him so I didn't have to fiddle with it as well as the credit cards & tickets.

camera

video camera (not every day)

water-1 for each of us

hat

sunglasses

chap stick

sunscreeen

With kids

all the above

diapers

wipes

thin blanket to change a diaper on (if I am not in a baby changing station)

purell

clorox wipes (we wipe down the tables since ds has a food allergy) & they are in a baggie

table toppers

stroller

soft cooler with zip lock bags to add food they didn't eat/left overs

foldable potty seat

autograph book/pen

snacks for them

I think that is it.

Oh & there is always an abundance of park maps in the stroller and the bag that I take on the rides.

We pretty much brought the same things and had two DS with us. One thing I might add is bring extra ziplock bags - 2 should do it, just in case something does get wet or dirty. You can put it in the ziplock. We also put two very wet washcloths in one ziplock bag for a very messy face and hands sometimes wipes don't do it well. We also brought extra shopping bags one for each of us on days it look like it was going to rain. Just to have something to sit on (for parades) if the ground was wet.

You might want to pack a very light blanket just in case your little one falls asleep at night.
