What do you take into the park...

example: tickets, hotel key, etc... (not concerned about food or water)...

And.. how do you carry it? Lanyard, small backpack etc...

Thanks!

Last trip I got those little bottles of hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works and you can get a little holder that can attach to your purse (or backpack) strap. You can just pop the lid off and get some fast! Brilliant idea!

Lanyard/zip pouch around my neck- Room key, Express pass, Club lounge access, drivers license, park ticket and money are in it

Cargo shorts hold my phone

THAT IS IT..
I hate the lockers and having to lock up belongings so I go as minimal as I can

Cargo shorts are the way to go....with a lanyard for the passes and ID. Just the bare essentials and a phone in a LifeProof case.

I usually bring my fannypack so that I have my wallet, my spare set of gasses (I'm blind as a bat without them), hand sanitizer, pocket camera, and cell phone.

Tooooooo much stuff!
I'm the guy in front of you at the security check points. You know me, fanny pack-stuffed, backpack-stuffed with more stuff...:scared1:

Our son is Autistic, and we try to prepare for as many "emergencies" as we can.

It really does get tiring hauling it around, but that's how we roll...and more often than not, have an awesome time! ;)

i don't take much with me when i go to the park.
just dl, ap, hotel card, ex pass card, credit card, couple of dollars.

it all fits in my bra, except i use a lanyard for the ep and ap.

if i need anything, i can walk back to the onsite hotel.

Gum, I don't want to be stuck in line with bad breath or with someone who's breath stinks. Either my husband keeps it in his shirt pocket or I have a small hip bag.

This is exactly the same thing I do. I have a pouch on a lanyard and I wear cargo shorts for my phone.

Carrying any type of bag into US or IOA really is a PITA because you have to put it in a locker at all the major rides.

I hate the lockers and refuse to use them, so carry as little as possible. I usually wear cargo shorts at Universal. My cell phone goes in one side pocket, along with a small spf lip balm and my small camera goes in the other. I then have a small Vera Bradley zip ID case in another pocket that holds my ID, room key, CC, AP, and a little cash. I wear or hold my sunglasses.

As others have said...cargo shorts are the way to go! I rarely take much of anything with me...maybe my camera but that's not very often.

Backpacks are allowed in universal and i strongly suggest you take one for each member of your party. The lanyards will hold your ID, keys and such.

Our youngest is 5 and we are debating on getting a stroller for our upcoming trip. How much expense/hassle is a stroller rental? He doesn't necessarily need it, but might get tired of walking. Also thinking that stroller could be a good place to toss things like ponchos, drink cups while we're on rides. Does that seem reasonable?

So... Can you take a lanyard with a zip pouch on the rides? I was wondering about the fanny pack too. Can you take that on all rides?

Thanks so much for all of the information. I will be sure to take my husband and kids :thumbsup2

I wear a neck wallet and when I go on the rides I tuck it into my shirt. But I don't ride the coasters (upside rides) so can't say about those. As for a fanny pack, most of the rides are ok, but depending on the size you may have an issue at Forbidden journey and men in black.

I wore a zip lanyard on all the rides( including Dragon Challenge and Hulk) with it tucked down in my shirt

Waistpacks/Fannypacks should be allowed, as long as they do not interefere with the restraints. The one I use was a Vera Bradley one that they do not sell anymore, but it was very thin and unobtrusive. If you have a waistpack the size of a preschooler with waterbottles etc dangling off, expect to have to lock it up.

We all have lanyards with park ticket, EP, room key and tuck them into our tops when on bigger rides. Mine did work it`s way out of my top on RRR once....it was a very bumpy ride that time!!

I wear a fanny packs where I carry a small sun cream as we are very fair skinned so need to top up regularly, camera, tissues and some cash.

My pack is a Kipling multiple and never have any issues with it on rides.

We don`t carry water around with us either, we stop and buy bottles as needed and finish them before setting off.
