I need help packing my bag for the parks. It will be me, dh, ds5, ds2. What should I take??

I will have a DS who will be 21 months. I plan on taking diapers, wipes, extra outfit, his blankie, sippy cups, toddler spoon & fork. I think that's about it. We are taking a backpack to hold everything.

My kids are a little older...DD6, DD9, DS17 and DS19...but we are also packing a bottle of water for each, Camera, ponchos, very small first aid kit, (which will include, Junior motrin, tylenol, neosporin, bandages, blister covers,) sunglasses.

I don't like to carry alot of stuff but having a little one you have to have a bag. I carry diapers, wipes, sunscreen, sippy cup, water bottle to share, purell, camera. If you are planning long days you may want to bring nap time blanket. I also bring stroller cover and rain wear if I am visiting when it rains every day.

Camera
Band Aids
Suntan Lotion (travel size)
Hand Lotion
Blistex/Lip Balm
Extra Batteries
Small autograph books
Large Pens (the characters like bigger pens)
Possibly - rain ponchos
Wipes - again travel size if I can find them before we go
Advil

I'm probably forgetting something, but this is what I have on my list so far:

Altoids tin - filled with precut moleskin, bandaids, blister block pads, Tylenol, and Tums.
Cell phone, in a snack sized baggie in case it gets wet.
A few individually sized wet wipes - like the kind they give at restaurants (Walmart sells these).
Bottle of water, and a couple of single serve packs of Crystal Light (to cover up the nasty taste of Orlando water).
My Disney bottle strap - in case I decide to carry the water that way.
Digital camera/extra battery/extra memory card - in a padded camera case inside the regular bag.
Disposable poncho - 50 cents at home, but several dollars at WDW. DH and DS will carry their own in their back pockets.
Sunglasses - left on most of the time.
Hand sanitizer - one of the new ones in a pen-like container.
Small bottle of sunscreen.
Chapstick.
Eyedrops (I wear contacts).
Pen, and a few sticky notes.
Credit card/drivers license/small amount of cash.
Small umbrella if it's definitely supposed to rain.
A travel-sized pack of Kleenex.

I don't have a small child (DS is 18), so I don't have to worry about the stuff that those of you with small kids do. I do not (and will not) be a pack mule for my family. If they don't want to carry it themselves, then they're out of luck. :goodvibes

Just packed my park essential bag. :dance3: Can we tell I'm only a day away.

I'm packing for one, but it can easily be adapted for four.

  • Mini wallet, with just driver's license, insurance card, and one credit card.
  • Daily cash allowence envelope.
  • Sunglasses
  • Blackberry
  • Camera
  • Extra quart size zip-lock for electronics
  • poncho
  • Purell
  • Pack of Gum
  • 3 bandaids
  • Chapstick
  • 3 Sunscreen wipes, I found the individually wrapped ones on amazon.com, they are a lifesaver when not having to carry around a big bottle.
It all fits comfortably into the Nine West Letter carrier bag, or if rain is not expected, into the bagallini wallet bag. I hook my key to the world card in a zip top id holder with a lime green mickey head to the outside of my bag.

I buy glow sticks and necklaces at the dollar store at home before we leave and bring them into the parks for night shows. The kids love them.

This looks like a lot - lol, and it is, but most of the things are small :)
I am taking a Baggallini Messenger bag:

Small First aid/foot care kit
  • Moleskin
  • Advil
  • Band-Aids
  • Needle
  • Neosporin
  • Blister Band-Aids
  • Tums
Epi Pen
Wipes/anit bac. hand gel
Tide Stick
Assorted baggies
Video camera
Camera
Money
Tickets
Cell phone
Extra contacts/case/trial size solution
Nail file
trial size sunblock
ponchos (Coleman brand from Target - I am going to use them as "disposible" - I can't use the nice thick ones from WDW-I'm allergic to latex)
blank index cards and sharpie for autographs
