What do you splurge on that's just for you?

My Twinings tea. I know that there are less costly options but I don't drink coffee and the Ceylon Breakfast Twinings is almost necessary for me.

A girl's weekend to the Stoweflake Spa and shopping in North Conway, NH once a year.

I think I'll make a late New Year's resolution to go get my nails done, something I've never done before!

Steffi if you're going to do it, do it right and get a paraffin wax manicure. Its well worth it

We have a local chocolate shoppe and its amazing. The truffles are to die for and they make this really yummy chocolate/caramel drink with ice cream that is a real treat. I even had my baby shower there last year.

My DS7 likes going there with me, but its a little expensive so we share....when I'm feeling nice :rotfl2:

All I can think of is my scrapbook suppplies, which are very few and always bought on sale, and the occasional Caramel Machiato from Starbucks. I'm just not enough of a girly-girl to do the whole hair and nails thing. It would feel like a punishment instead of a splurge for me! :confused3

Godiva chocolate...yummmmmm! Especially the dark chocolate truffles. I like to make myself a double decaf latte, put on some classical music, get some fresh berries or peaches (if they are in season), and curl up with a good book, my kitties, and GODIVA! It's my favorite "spoil me" routine.

My long lost sister! (except for the latte)....(but add Yankee Candles)!

Our frequent DW weekend trips. We work hard and go often. Very often.

I totally forgot the candles! Of course candles, too...although I usually get the Party Lite ones instead of Yankee Candles. Thanks for reminding me... :goodvibes

I'm glad there's someone else out there with the same "spoil me routine"!

Like many, getting my hair highlighted. Plus, Yankee Candles!

An occasional massage....pure BLISS.

Add to it my WDW trips that include a stop at the SSR Spa.....I am in heaven.

My nails are my one big splurge now too. I guess I should probably add my hair.. it is my one real vanity.. always healthy and shiny. Now that I have a few "off color" ;) hairs popping up I am getting it colored too and then there are the good hair products to go with it so it remains looking like virgin hair.

Oh and then there is my make-up.. I usually get Mary kay and it is more expensive than normal store bought..but in my opinion lots better especially the skin care products.

But ya know... I am not sure I would consider taking care of myself a splurge.. more like a neccessity.. I don't wanna scare anyone. :scared:

This thread is a great guide for the DIS-guys out there who don't know what to get the women in their lives for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc!

Specialty coffee beans for fresh coffee every morning, wine, buying Origins line of cosmetics about three times a year, and getting my hair colored every five weeks. My hair is one indulgence I would never give up.

another exercise dvd or more equipment
Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey or Cherry Garcia ice cream
books and more books
or even simple stuff like a long hot shower or bath

Getting my hair done for sure.

Massages. That is my favorite thing in the world!

Facials every other month - Stay out of the sun ladies!

On the opposite month I get a massage.
