My current treat (and addiction LOL) is getting my nails done. Dh thinks it's a waste of $$, but now that I have them I can't imagine not having them. So, what's your splurge?

Getting my hair colored. I feel guilty every time I do it because it's so expensive, but I dont' want to go gray gracefully.

Not much of anything really besides getting some pimento cheese from a store across town. I go get it maybe 3 or 4 times a year. It isn't that expensive but for pimento cheese it sure is.

My other splurge would be going to concerts but I do those as cheap as I can so they don't usually cost me much at all.

Getting my hair done. But thats kinda a must these days. But my big splurge is getting a pedicure. Ahhhhh, pure heaven.

Nothing! I've been thinking a lot lately about doing something special just for me, like getting my hair colored or my nails done, but I always feel too guilty about it and end up getting something for DH or DD instead. :confused3 In fact, I think I'll make a late New Year's resolution to go get my nails done, something I've never done before!

Go for it!! I had mine done for my wedding 11 yrs ago and then never again until this past November....it's a HUGE treat ~ you'll love it! :)

Having my hair colored. It's naturally black and the gray just makes it look really washed out. I pay to have it done because I have to have it lightened all over now. My gray is very resistant and turns red, so I have the rest of my hair lightened to match it. It's just not something I could do at home.
Because my hair grows fast, I have to have it done at least every 6wks. (preferably once a month), so that's a splurge for me.

Godiva chocolate...yummmmmm! Especially the dark chocolate truffles. I like to make myself a double decaf latte, put on some classical music, get some fresh berries or peaches (if they are in season), and curl up with a good book, my kitties, and GODIVA! It's my favorite "spoil me" routine.

Lancome mascara, where is a smiley batting it's long, luxurious lashes :flower3:

I get a facial every 5 weeks, like clockwork.

I'd have to say hair as well. That and Yankee Candles and Bath & Body Works products!

are you me??

That's what I was going to say! ::yes::

Getting things for my computer. Sorry I'm a computer science major. I'm a nerd.

Also getting my hair done. It doesn't need to be highlighted but I just love how it looks. I feel so much better when I look in the mirror and my hair isn't so brassy and orange.

getting my hair done. I used to color it myself, but I go to a stylist now. It actually averages out to about the same amount of $$ for me either way (pre-tip), but I love my stylist. It is not a necessity for me, as I am not graying, but I get bored with color very quickly. Also, I have had much better results going to the stylist than I did when doing it myself. He is very good at what he does, so it always looks natural. He took me red twice, and am currently brunette with red undertones, and he will be making me blondish this summer. Plus, the box doesn't tell me that my color is "stunning" or "will stop traffic"
I tend to spend too much on myself overall, but my hair will not be the area in which i cut back.

ballet class :) I splurge and buy the 10 class cards (more up front but $25 cheaper in the long run)

I also splurge on bath products. I love taking baths.
