who came home and told you he that he got a bloody nose in school today because he put dried glue (from around the cap) up his nose and then pulled it out?????? :lmao:

It was all I could do not to laugh out loud in his face! I had to put on the stern face and remind him that we don't put things up our nose and we certainly don't pick our noses!!

What do you think the teacher thinks of him now????? :lmao: :lmao:

I would have said I hope you learned your lesson! Then I would repeated what you said.
I am a teacher and sometimes it is so hard not to laugh when kids do stuff like that!
One time a kid was sitting in the pea gravel and he was tossing rocks in the air and you guessed it, it went right up his nose and got stuck!

O that really is funny :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It is so hard being a mom, when our kids do the funniest things but not at the appropriate times/or when they do things they should not be doing BUT whatever it was they were doing you just want to LAUGH OUT LOUD!!!!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

But then you need to quickly tighten your "mom's hat" and say "that wasn't a good idea"....hhmmm..... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Mom: This JUST the beginning of many more times like this....

You have much more control than me, cause I would have laughed right in his face. My 4 almost 5 yr old does things like that, and I just can't control it. I try I really do, but I can't. Then he gets mad and asks me if I thought it was funny he got hurt. Of course, at that point I catch my breath and tell him that no it wasn't funny he got hurt, it was just that what he did was so funny. Usually he starts laughing then, but no matter how hard I try I still can't keep myself from laughing.

Oh no!! :rotfl: I probably would laugh at him and say "that's what you get."

WHAT EXACTLY IS A PEA GRAVEL...?????????????????????????? :confused3

Many times I have had to walk from the room, compose myself and come back in with my Mom face on.

I do have a sore spot on the inside of my cheek where I was biting so that I wouldn't laugh!! man it is hard.

Oh and when I asked him why he did it he said, "it seemed like the thing to do at the time." :lmao: The bad part of that is that I have said that exact same thing to him before!!

I know there are worse things to come...he's a boy afterall!!

Ive heard that one before as well. But when I heard it, the scissors had just been put down and the sweetpea had some very strange looking bangs.

That's so cute! :rotfl2:

I probably would just laugh and ask how he was now. My guess is that he already figured out that it was a bad idea.

Oh, SO CUTE. I called my mother and told her this one. Just adorable.

Yes, I think that is what is known as an object lesson.

I would not have been able to keep a straight face, I am impressed you did.

Pea gravel is just tiny rocks, about the size of a pea.

Tara,

Just think of all the stories you'll have for his future girlfriends! :rotfl2:

Do yourself a favor. Start a word document for each of them and put the stories in them. It'll be so funny in a few years to look back at them!

Isn't that talking about someone behind their backs?! :teeth:

Oh no! I've been talked about!! hehehe

Stacerita...I belive I did that when I was about 9 at the girl's club with my best friend!! hehehehe

Suzanne...good idea about the word file. I will have to go back and find all my Jar stories!! ehhehe Blackmail is such a great thing!!

I emailed his teacher to find out if she got the same story he gave me. I'm thinking he probably left that part out to his teacher. She emailed me last night and told me that when his nose started bleeding he went up to her and very calmly said, "I believe my nose is bleeding." :rotfl: Ya think!!

Oh I have a very unique child!! hehehehe

When my little sister was 2 she put a pea up her nose on purpose. After a hour of trying to get it out, my parents ended up taking her to the ER. The next night she was sitting at the table and a dried up pea was on the table from the prev night and up her nose that went. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Could not believe that she hadn't learned her lesson!!

My mom said I did that with raisins!! Once she knew how to tie me down and get it herself she did it!! I guess after mom's doctoring I didn't do it again!!

I have reminded my ds not to do any glue "sniffing" at school again!! :lmao:
