what do you regret not buying in WDW

It's gorgeous, it even comes with the archway that you drive under, as well as the totem pole and a few figurines. Do a google search, and there is a website that shows it all put together. It was $50.00 last Aug. I know you can have it shipped, but the shipping to Canada costs almost as much as the set, so I have resigned myself to going on another trip to get it....LOL

I got this idea from another tread but I wished I had bought a magnet for every Disney resort we have stayed in. This is a cheap souviener for those of us that are repeat visits. Just started doing this on our last trip.

I do this too! I actually buy the magnetic picture frames with each resort.
I also have a snow globe collection that I started a few years ago. I buy a small snow globe (or two or three :lmao: ) everytime we go. Can't wait til the next trip to see what's new. :goodvibes

I was at the gift shop at the Carribbean Beach Resort and saw some Disney family car stickers. They were the cute little people to represent each person in your family. I had them in my hand & put them back. Maybe I'll go online & try to find where I can buy them.

I regret not buying one of those engraved cobblestones for our family name and date and having it set at Magic Kingdom each time we went.

I'm mad that I did not get a license plate frame when they had them about 2 years ago. If someone here has seen them lately please let me know.

Just saw some at World of Disney in DTD in December. I think they were like $3.95 !! Kind of mad I didn't grab some myself!!

Some more Disney christmas ornaments, especically from Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. :sad1:

We love that store, (just cause its in the MK!!) and the ornaments are sooooo pretty. I have many on my tree from there every year, and last April I didnt get anymore and I REGRET IT.

I want the Pirates set, some more Tigger, and some more glass balls.

Im gonna get me some in February!!!!!!! :):cool1:

We were just there for Christmas. I planned on buying a 2006 picture frame ornament...thought I would get one before I left...I forgot! I should have just gotten it at the beginning of the trip when I saw it. Oh well. I guess I could call and see if they still have any left.

I also wish I could have gotten the 2006 WL ornament-by the time we got there on 12/22 they were sold out. I saw a Contemporary one at their shop..but we stayed at WL...and I wanted a WL one.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and I saw a stuffed Tigger in one of the shops dressed as santa. He had a beard and everything. I thought I would buy it later in the trip and never saw it again.:sad1:

-A sterling silver Florida charm (w/ stone set where WDW is!)
-WL pins for kid's laynards

But I'll be able to get them this trip (hopefully)

Disney shopping has these online. I shamelessly bought two sets. One for my current car, and another for my next new car...years down the road. :)

I so badly wanted to get a model monorail to go around my christmas tree when we were there in July. I looked at them in every store we went in. I actually had one up but put it back. My tree looked so bare without a monorail to go around it. You bet I will get one this year!!!

Do you remember how much that monorail costs? I would love that!!

I am a Christmas and Disney nut, so I figured why not combine??:confused3 I wished last time that I had gotten a bunch of those christmas balls that are shaped like Mickey's head. I have thought about them all year! So- I decided during the after Christmas sales to buy a pre-lit colored light tree (I reserve the white lit more elegant Christmas tree for upstairs) and I plan on putting it in the basement next year. This will be my "disneyfied tree" I am planning on buying those ornaments, as well as some others, and I would love the monorail to go around!! I think the kids would really like this as well. Like I said, I have been thinking about it all year.:rotfl:

by the way, we always get a christmas ornament everywhere we go on vacation. Last year we got the one at WL. You can always find them, even if it's not Christmas. Decorating the tree is so fun because we can look back at all the wonderful memories we have.

every trip we go on i buy a coffee mug, then every day when i make my morning coffee/tea, i remember a nice thought of that resort or vacation.

another post (wine glass hunting) got me thinking. As my first and last for a while trip to WDW, i am curious about what things you wish you had got while the chance. I am big on Disney souvenirs but want to be thrify as possible.
2 MK 2000 christmas ornaments since my 3 yo broke it this past xmas.

First time I went to MK I was 7. I wanted a stuffed Minnie so badly. However, my sister and I were on a very tight budget. My sister controlled the purse strings (she was 11 after all ;) ) . I regretted it for years. DSis went back 4 or 5 years later (High School trip) and brought home a stuffed Minnie for me:thumbsup2 .

My last two trips there were items I saw that I wanted. And I would ask myself the question- 'Will I regret not buying this when I get home?' If the answer was yes I bought it. Thanks to that question I have a lovely Mickey pencil holder on my desk and a nice Tink 'Sassy' bucket hat that I otherwise would not have bought.

There are of course some trading pins I wish I would have bought on my last trip as well as one of the cookbooks. So, asking the question doesn't always work. I answered wrong on a few items:rotfl:

There is actually an email address and phone number where you can order any of the items you have seen at WDW. They just need a good description of the item and which gift shop you saw it at. I ordered the wishes CD for my husband earlier this year. I will look and see if I can find it again and will post it!

Here, I have the phone number for you: (407) 363-6200 Merchandise

We visited AKL to get a goofy t-shirt for my mother in law. They were the only place to have that shirt in the size we needed. While there, my husband squirted me with some perfume, which was _____ tea (ginger tea?) or something like that. I regreted not getting it. It really smelled good after it set in.

We were in Epcot this past July and my son saw a mans size 13 mickey slippers, you know those really big shoe ones. We cant find them anywhere now and we called WDW and they will not ship them from the store in Epcot. I really want to get those. The 800# only has womens sizes.....I could kick myself for not getting them for him.

The Mickey and Minnie salt and pepper shakers. We are going back to WDW in Dec. 07. I will definitely get them that trip.

I wish we had bought a really nice Christmas ornament. We were there in May, so we weren't thinking Christmas, but when we put up the tree this year, we really wish we'd gotten one.

I MUST get one of the refrigerator picture frames for every trip. I try to find the ones with the year, if I can. But what I regret NOT buying is more boxes of that Mickeyroni macaroni. It was delicious & I only got one box! I almost went through the process of ordering them from Disney & having them shipped until we decided to go back again in March...I saved $8 by not having to have them shipped! :rotfl:
