What do you put on your tshirts?

I am really torn between using mommy and daddy on our shirts for disney or using our name Alison and Jim. I see both and I can't decide what I like better. Do more people use there names or do they use mommy and daddy? Help, this is all new to me and I am struggling to decide.

We went with another family in October so we used everyone's first names. This August we are going back, just our family, and I plan on using Mommy and Daddy. I think that is what I will use while the kids are little.

We are a group of 7 adults and 3 children going in August. I was thinking of making/ordering tshirts for our group. It seems like a t-shirt theme is "trendy" ...I have not been to a disney park in like 20 years.....so I was wondering if you could clarify about your t-shirts. Do you order them? Do you make family ones?

Just a personal opinion, but we don't use first names, or even 'Mommy' or 'Daddy'- we just use the family name 'Thomas Family'. I get too nervous that someone would see our name, or our child's name and call it out and our daughter get caught off-guard (it's Disney, it's a pretty relaxed environment, but it can still happen). She's 4. Not to mention, we get our t-shirts screen printed locally, and there's an extra charge for each change you name (different names, number of colors, etc.)- so we keep it simple for that reason, too. Just my $0.02.

Last Year we did 'Walt Disney World, 2009' on 2 different lines in Waltograph font on the front right chest of the shirts, then a Mickey on the back with 'Thomas Family Vacation' below it. Works for us- 1 color imprint, same imprint on each shirt- we got compliments just the same! Good Luck with your shirts!

Hi,
We used mom and dad. We did Xmas shirts when we went last year and this year we are going for Halloween and we're going to do the same! I think it's cute when the kids are still young!

Since I make the shirts for everyone in our family, I vary. The two littlest ones get Pixie Princess or some other sort of name that they would not respond to. The 9 & up crowd get their name or their pin trading name. When I take a large group with the same last name, I will put the "Evans" family........ & Lastly I will sometimes use fun names. For example, I will use Dr. 1 (cents sign here). As I often sign 1 (cent sign here) for my name Penny & since I got my doctorate a lot of the faculty and kids call me Dr. Penny . I made the passport books with the girls names on them but put Aunt Penny & Mom-Mom on ours. So it all boils down to whatever you like or what mood you are in. .Penny
