I am thinking of passing up the grocery stop this time, even though the refrigerator in the room is free. Usually I spend around $60 on food for the room, but I have realized that it doesn't seem to impact my overall spending. Cereal and mild and bagels and juice work for breakfast, but then my kids always seem to want a second breakfast in the parks anyway. Worse yet, at the end of every trip, I always wind up throwing stuff out. Somehow I am managing to both overbuy and underbuy at the same time! I would appreciate knowing what goes on a "typical" shopping list for those of you who make the grocery stop, and how it works for you.
