What do you pack to carry all day?

We usually stay onsite so only pack what we think we'll need during the day. We head back if we need jackets or to change wet sox/shoes.

Your first delivery is free with a $49 minimum order. Also make sure you look carefully at the free delivery codes - mine usually stipulate either a $149 minimum delivery order or the purchase of 5 specific items in the order. I normally end up paying the $6 delivery fee.

So I'm online checking out Vons and I notice it's part of Safeway. Would it accept my Canadian Safeway card or Airmiles number for points?

Vons IS Safeway - I have my Safeway Rewards # connected to my Vons account. Make an account and add your Canadian Safeway and it should let you know if it works for the Canadian #'s (which I would assume so). It will automatically apply the card savings at checkout.

Ha! one more question: If I'm a Canadian customer, will they still allow me to order online, or do I need to call them with my order for delivery?

It should allow you to order without any problem since the address it is going to is 1600 S. Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, California 9280. I would make a fake order once you sign up for an account and see if it allows you to get as far as CONFIRMATION to see if it accepts your billing address. I think it's pretty common with Vons that the billing and delivery addresses do not matching up.

MommyJKM, so far, my Harvey's have held up wonderfully. What I like is that they are guaranteed FOR LIFE, and they are made in the USA. Two things I LOVE.

And thanks for the tip about the Swell bottles.....we have the Thermos, but I don't like that they sometimes condensate and/or leak. =)

I think I'll jump on the Harvey's bandwagon and grab the leopard Minnie. You will LOVE the Swell bottles - I dig the non-condensation and the wide mouth for adding ice- I HATE when ice cubes don't fit in a water bottle.

Forgot to add that I bring a couple of those clear grocery store produce plastic bags - not the large ones at checkout but the ones in the produce section you put your fruit and veggies in. In case something spills or gets wet.

In addition to all the other helpful things people have listed, I stash some pre-cut Moleskin, blister bandages, and coach's tape in mine...just in case we pop up a blister on a foot.

We don't have small kids to consider, so our bag pretty much just has those, a water bottle, Crystal Lite packets, and sunscreen. And then we buy t-shirts, and load the sucker down.

I forgot we use these MD Mom sunscreen towelettes. I can just swipe it on while she's distracted looking at a Princess instead of her squirming around while I try to rub a lotion on. Plus there's no chance of a cream leaking all over the bag and they don't take up much room.

For me it depends if we're staying onsite or not. If we are, it's more minimal; an empty water bottle w/ a carabiner clip, sunscreen, hand sanitizer and wipes (for tables), my camera, phone, wallet, etc. I will sometimes pack a lunch and take snacks as well (granola bars, nuts, etc.). If we're staying offsite I bring a bigger backpack with a sweatshirt, Motrin/Pepto (just in case!), etc. I'm like the Mary Poppins of Disneyland, and if anyone in our group needs something they know who to ask!

During the winter I like to store away nuts in the pouchs of my cheeks. It makes for a great way to have a snack any time of day or night for that matter. nothing extra to carry, doesn't have to be looked at in bag search, be it on airline or Disneyland. The only drawback is someone might think you have the mumps. In which case just show them proof of vaccination or having an immunity.

I buy ponchos from the dollar store or order them from Amazon before we leave on our trip so we aren't spending time hunting for them once we get there. I hear they also have them at Wal-Mart, but we don't usually shop there so I haven't looked.
I also bring a back up battery for my phone, a few granola bars in case we get hungry waiting in a long line, water bottle, sunscreen & hat (some of those lines are in the blazing sun!), hand sanitizer, anti-chafe stuff to prevent blisters (Body Glide is a good brand - also found on Amazon), a small wallet with a little cash, credit card, room key, etc., and a paperback chapter book to read out loud while we're waiting in line.
Oh, and a Stall Stopper (http://www.restroomsurvivalkit.com/) because then we can use that one stall with the broken lock that seems to be in every public bathroom on the planet! It's come in very, very handy on every trip so far. I had one woman offer to buy it off me on one trip when the line was out the door and I was able to bypass the line and get DS (then 3 and still having accidents) into the stall with the broken lock using the Stall Stopper.

I was wondering what the heck a stall stopper was. I'm glad you described it. Because, I was getting the impression, image of something entirely different man! Lol
Anyway, hey, not only three year olds can have accidents. Just ask my Aunt Minerva. She is the poster child for depends! Matter of fact, when June Allyson was no longer interested in doing commercials for the company, depends people contacted my Auntie Minerva. See, she does a little bit of modeling on the side. She jumped at the chance! She ended up getting a really nice contract, free depends for as long as she lives, and every time her commercial shows, she gets royalties. Disney cruise here we come!

I was always the one to wear the backpack. It can get heavy with the needs for 4-5 people.
For the last trip, I went to the fabric store and bought Disney Themed fabric for cinch bags.
I made each of the grandkids their own Disney cinch bag. The bottom is covered with black nylon for wear and tear.
I made a zipper compartment for small valuables.

In my bag I include a change of shoes and socks.

I have small peanut butter jars for the snacks. The goldfish crackers didn't keep too well in ziplock bags.

The nice thing about everyone having their own bag, they can carry whatever they want to.

Put those naughty goldfish crackers in either a tiny Tupperware, or a canister like the kind Pringles and stackers come in. That way your goldfish will not become dust.
