What do you order?

I know each person/family is different, but what do you order from the Garden Grocer that I might not think of? I am planning our first trip and hope to use them for the basics (water, powdered drink mix, snacks, bagels/cream cheese etc.) but what are some of the items you discovered you really needed and forgot to order or is a must have on your shopping list? Thanks!

We usually order water bottles, milk, juice boxes, yogurt, cheese sticks, pop tarts, bfst bars, micro mac-n-cheese, snack crackers, chips, cookies, plastic cups, plastic cutlery, bowls, papertowels, ziploc bags, sunblock spray/lotion, baby wipes, hand sanitizer packets, beer, wine, and when the kids were younger we also ordered large sand buckets w/shovels. If you want an item that is not on their website, you can put it in the "notes" section of the order form and they will call you for clarification and get the items for you. They usually charge the "notes" items on a seperate bill of sale. Great customer service

Water bottles, breakfast foods, candy, popcorn, snacks to bring to the parks (that won't melt), etc. I have to say the most important item has been the case of water.

How far in advance do you need to order?
Do you get/give a time you would like delivery?
can someone post a link so I low I have the right site?

As you can tell I have never done this but with five kids I think it might be a good idea for a few things

You give them a time frame for when you want it delivered. You have to be in your room to have bell services deliver it to your room Bell serve will hold it for you until you are ready. I ordered and paid for it about 2 months out. Just so that was out of the way. We got cereal and milk, orange juice, cheese stix, water, pepsi products, fresh cut up fruit.

1- You do not have to be in your room when Garden Grocer delivers your order to your resort. Bell services will hold/refrigerate your stuff until you are in your room and ready to receive it.

2- We have placed our GG order several weeks in advance. During busy times, they can get booked up and your preferred delivery date/time may not be available so the sooner you place the order, the better chance you'll have of getting your desired date/time.

3- Yes. See #2 above.

Last May when we stayed all movies bell services actually put our order in our room for us. Has this changed? Maybe it was because we used Magical Express and they were delivering our luggage???

For small stuff that wouldn't be harmed in your suitcase, check prices around you first. For me, it was cheaper to buy a jar of peanut butter at home than to use GG for it, same with powdered drink mixes. I also decided to be a real cheap-o with jelly, and just started snagging the little individual ones from restaurants.

For us (we fly across the country but only take carry-ons, so very limited on liquids):

water
sunscreen (our preferred kind)
power bars (or something like that)
ziploc bags
