Favorite thing to order in at a Magic Kingdom counter service restaurant? Photos a plus. :) I just don't know of anything good here for lunch so help me out!!

I dont have any photos but Pecos Bills has a great burger that you can add to with a toppings bar that has cheese sauce (pefect for fries) sauted mushrooms, lettuce, onion and grilled onions, tomatos, pickles and shredded cheese, ketchup, mustard, mayo.

They also have a taco salad and a huge yummy chicken wrap!

Cosmic Ray has ribs and chicken and a great turkey wrap

Columbia Harbour House has fish and chips, shrimp and chips, chicken and fries, great tuna sandwich, hummus sandwhich and clam chowder

Pinnoicho Village Haus has a pasta dish with chix parm, meatball sub, pizza

All the CS have salads as well! Plenty of good CS in MK, just not great TS!

I like the bbq sandwich or the taco salad at Pecos Bills.

If you want something that feels less like fast food, the rotisserie chicken is good at Cosmic Ray's.

Some of our favs are:

Anchors Aweigh (tuna) sandwich at Columbia Harbour House, taco salad at Pecos Bill's (yummy toppings bar!), hot dogs @ Casey's (yummy toppings bar too, but only if they've truly gotten rid of the cardboard buns!), egg rolls at the eggroll cart for a light lunch or snack, chicken dinner with smashed potatoes and green beans at Cosmic Ray's ( I think allears lists it as a "seasonal vegetable" but we've been served green beans for the past 6 or so years), tacos at the Pirate and the Parrot which has been renamed but I can't recall it (share toppings bar and seating with Pecos Bills and the plate comes with rice)

Nothing extraordinary but we've never gotten a bad meal there. Also pretty kid friendly if that's a concern.

I agree with Cosmic Rays. My favorite is the turkey wrap! :thumbsup2 Nothing else excites me too much at MK.

Usually we do 2 days in MK so we alternate between Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays.

At Pecos, the taco salad is fabulous! The give you the shell and the taco meat along with a packet of sour cream. Then you head to the toppins bar and add what you like.

At Cosmic Rays we get the rib/chicken combo. Although the cheesesteak is good too.

My two favorites are the Anchors Away - tuna salad - sandwich at Columbia Harbour House or the Bacon Cheeseburger with toppings at Pecos Bill.

Columbia Harbour House -Tuna Sandwich--
This is the only place I eat tuna of any kind. Love Love this sandwich!!!:thumbsup2

i won't be much help about cosmic rays, i always get a kids meal (perfect variety, size, and price lol) but I LOVE getting a bacon cheeseburger at Pecos Bills and hitting the toppings bar, and we love to eat at CHH when they're first opening to grab a seat by a window to peoplewatch. I've had a lot from there and it's always been pretty darn good, not gourmet by any means, but def. superior to most of the run of the mill fast food places.

Just dropping in to second the tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbour House. The sandwich followed by their apple cobbler was one of the highlights of our trip last week.

Taco Salads at Pecos Bills. They are awesome.

I would like to try Colombia Harbor House too though.

My favorite is to hop on the monorail and go to Contempo Cafe (more choices for both food AND desserts, plus the 'cool factor' of eating with the monorail going by overhead) or to Capt Cooks at the Poly. LOVE their pulled pork sandwich on sweet bread, fresh house-made potatoe chips, and of course a Dole Whip for dessert!

We love Cosmic Rays. Sitting on the terrace, listening to the waterfall and looking at the castle is great. We also like to grab some things there to share right before wishes and then watch from the bridge between there and the castle.

Thanks for all the replies. Need to go look at the Columbia Harbor House menu to see if I think the rest of the family would like it.
