What do you order at Tutto Italia?

I'm trying to get an idea of what's really delicious (not concerned about price etc just the food).

I'm going for hubby's b-day. He's usually a steak and potatoe or burger eater but he does like Italian food too so I'm doing it for him.

I like pretty much anything, love cream sauces, veggies, meats, potatoes, clean fish (shrimp, scallops), etc.

I can't recall what my Dh had but I ordered lasagna and it was really good and a huge portion!

We ate there last week. I had: Bucatini Gratinati - bowtie pasta with Italian prosciutto ham, peas and parmesan cream. It was delicious!!!

My husband had: Costoletta Di Maiale which is a grilled pork chop and I believe it came with potatoes and possibly broccoli. He love it (and he is not a big Italian food over.

My daughter and her friend both had spagetti and they both said it was very good.

Hey Michelle, I tend to be very picky about lasagna. I don't like chunks of veggies and stuff...can you tell me was it more of a smooth/non-chunky lasagna or was it filled with veggies?

Thanks!
Jim

I got some chicken thing (don't remember the name of it) and it was delicious! There was a strawberry dessert also (don't remember the name of it either :rotfl: we just told the waiter we wanted something strawberry, and he brought that out) and a chocolate cake dessert also. Both were great!

I got the Bruschetta with Cannellini bean and shrimp salad which was so good! The lasagna was pretty tasty too. The lasagna is meat, cheese, non-chunky sauce, and pasta. No veggies...

The Penne caprese!!!! YUM!!

I also like lasagna your way. And, their lasagna was fantastic:goodvibes It is very smooth and uses a special sauce instead of ricotta cheese. Very yummy:banana: I want some right now:lmao:

I thought this restaurant was ok. But I am biased, as the menu had too many pork dishes (I do not eat pork), and not enough seafood. I can not remember, does the lasagna have sausage in it?

The tomato and mozzarella appetizer, lasagna, and lemon ice for dessert. It was all wonderful!

That looks delicious! I love fresh mozzarella like that! We were thinking about Le Cellier or Rose & Crown for dinner at Epcot....may have to try Tutto instead! Thank you.

I had the Pasta with Crab meat it had a sauce the was
a mixture of Tomato with a touch of cream--very good--cleaned my plate.
My DH had the Salmon dish with veggies (I tasted a bite of his and
it was excellent).
Hoping to get an ADR for upcoming trip and I'm going to order the Salmon.

I ordered a salad..some salad with chicken in it. :confused3 It was OK...but my family ordered more Italian things - lasagna and pastas - and they raved about theirs. :rotfl2: It was lunch and I didn't want anything heavy...but they did.

The desserts were fantastico though. :goodvibes The profiterols if I spelled that correctly...they were scrumptious. And I know my sweets. :rotfl2:

I don't know if I would make a point to eat there again based on what I had...but my family all want to go back again. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Truly:goodvibes

I'm not sure if it's still on the menu but they were cheese filled pasta purses and OMG they were delicious!!! My father ordered them and me and my step mom pretty much ate his whole meal. We went for lunch when they had just redone the menu and the cheese purses weren't even on the menu yet and the waiter said the chef wanted people to try it. I know later it was officially added. Since I wasn't that hungry I just had the prosciutto and melon and it was fabulous. Some of the best prosciutto I've ever had. And I'm pretty picky! lol

The easier question would be what isn't good to order!!

The bellini is a requirement:

Appies of tomato & mozarella and proscuitto and melon and kid's salad:

Another vote for penne caprese, DH's pan roasted sole (which was fantastic!!) and kids spaghetti & meatballs:
