What do you nerd out about besides Disney?

Most people here are Disney nerds, but what else do you nerd out on? I nerd out in the JFK Assassination. Seen all the movies, documentaries and tv specials. Read tons of books and I have been to Dealey plaza (not hard since I live in Texas). I don't believe the wild conspiracy theories but I do believe that Oswald had some help. Just hard to believe he did it all by himself. Anyway, what do you nerd out about?

The Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions that include the people, machines and engineering that took us to the moon has interested me for quite some time.

I think I've read everything Heinlein ever wrote, including ever published letter, etc. I really like his work and find him fascinating in general--and think he and Ginny are one of those love stories for the ages.

As far as fiction goes, Star Trek and Harry Potter. (Hence my username!)

In the real world, I love the space program and its history. I use my Kennedy Space Center annual pass more than I use my Universal or Sea World ones.

I'm a food geek. The only celebrities I know much of anything about are chefs. I'm not a wildly adventurous eater or a gourmet cook but I do know a lot about food and cooking, much of it pretty esoteric.

(Funny story - I go to a dentist that advertises himself as a "Tooth Geek". He absolutely loves his work and says he dreamed of becoming a dentist long before he even knew what they were because from the youngest of ages he found teeth totally fascinating.)
