what do you mean by an "upsell"?

Hi Lori!

An upsell is where you ask for availability at say a value resort and while there is availability at those resorts, they are getting close to capacity and Disney is better able to sell those rooms at the last minute. In order to keep those rooms available for last minute occupancy, they offer the next level - the moderate resorts - at a discounted price. You won't get the same price as a value resort, but you will get a great price for the next level up. The same holds true with asking about moderate resorts and being offered a great rate at the deluxe resorts. It doesn't happen all the time when you call, but it never hurts to ask.

Hope this helps!
