I love the location of the Dolphin but most of all I love the Grotto Pool!!!:smooth: :bounce:

It is nothing that can be easily be described but its that I love that being in the wooods cabin feel

AKL- I love the gorgeous lobby, watching the animals from my room or the viewing areas, and the "away from it all" relaxing feeling.

I love that I feel like I am in the Pacific Northwest at the WL...If you sit in the hot tub in Feb and if it is cold enough, you can almost imagine that you are in the middle of the forest in th mountains!!!

Need I say more. New Years Eve and the Fourth of July the fireworks were wonderful! The view of the castle changing colors, and you could see the castle from bed.
The CM's are great. I wouldn't change anything. Except to go back more often. I retire in 3 years, can't wait for my retirement trip, 14th floor here I come (hope I can afford it).

WL :lovestruc - this may sound weird  , but I like the "small" feel to it, because everything is in one building. Things aren't as spread out as in other resorts. You never have to venture outside to reach the snack bar or the store, etc.

I also like the different travel options - boat to MK or CR (to catch the monorail) or busses.

I just love the whole atmosphere at the Poly. Its so relaxing, tropical, romantic, and fun all in one.
Of course, the view from the beach, transportation options, and restaurants cant be beat either. :D

I wish I would have stayed here on my Honeymoon but I was lured by the Monorail and the Poly. Liked the Poly but it really wasn't for us. But the AKL seems right up our alley. I can't wait to go and enjoy 7 glorious days! My favorite part is probably going to be the Lobby and the FOOD!

We just love the atmosphere of BWI and BWV! We like that it's a smaller resort, all of the dining and entertainment options and it's closeness to Epcot! We like to go to Epcot almost every night, so that's a real plus for us!princess:

I love AKL, but CSR is my favorite. I just love everything about it and the fact that it is easily affordable for me makes it my favorite.

Love that countdown timer!!!!!;)

I love the WL staff, from the front desk to WC & RF. Bell Services to Mousekeeping. Having been to many Great NW Lodges, the Disney approach that no detail is to small.

Although Isolated from the hustle and bustle, still nearby to MK, a relaxing boat ride to CR to catch the monorail or dinner., FW for TE and the Campfire. WL is a large magnificent structure, but still easy walking to the pools, boat dock, bus depot. and lobby.

Planning one day of no parks and just enjoying it’s grandeur is a must.

I love FC....I wish you would come in Feb so I could meet ya!!

I love to wander around the lodge at night, just sitting in the lobby and watching the people go by is fun.

Betsy~who cries as she drives through the WL arch...heck, cries at the WDW arch off Osceola Pkwy!

The fact that you can walk or take a monorail to the MK.Hearing Mickey and gang talking to you in the elevators. The size of the rooms cannot be beat and last but not least, the cast members are so friendly.Contemporary,I call home.

WL is awesome. Wilderness at Disney.....genius. The hot tub in the morning is peaceful and serene. I love the deco and the CM's are great everywhere!

10. The convenient Boat Rides to MK.

9. The choice of a quiet pool at the Villas or the Hustle & Bustle of the Main Pool.

8. The proximity of having everything under 1 Building.

7. The many little secretive places that are abundant around the lodge.

6. The magnificence and grandeur of the main lobby.

5. Being able to enjoy the frolicking fun of Whispering Canyon right on property.

4. The quest for the box (those of the WL thread will know what I mean).

3. The extremely loyal and helpful information you get from the other WL Vets.

2. The view of the Castle and fireworks you get from some of the balconies.

1. As my girls say - "It's not a dream hotel...It's a Dream Come True Hotel."

1 - The animals - especially the giraffes
2 - The restaurants - two totally different but totally excellent restaurants just a few steps from your room (ok, they were like 1000 steps from our room ;))
3 - The decor - sooo relaxing and far removed, but still impeccably disney.

The Contemporary is my favorite resort because I love the view from the tower, the ease of travel between CR/MK (walk or take monorail), the size of the rooms and the overall atmosphere. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Why I love the All Star Resorts...

*You can't beat the price for a clean creative room especially if you do the parks "commando" style! :)

*The ease of transportation! Very rarely waited for a bus for more than 15 minutes...and most times one was pulling up as we approached the bus stop!

*The size of the resort in relation to the pool and food court! After staying at CBR, we missed "our" All Stars-could get our mugs refilled before boarding the bus and relatively "small" in comparison to CBR (which was ENORMOUS with just ONE food court!) The All Star Resorts have three!

*Three unique themes within walking distance!

*Did I mention all those pins I can now buy cuz of the price?? ;)

Just a few "of my favorite things...",
:p IVY :p
