What do you love about the pool/slide at CSR?

Tell me everything.:)
I love the nachos and margaritas while watching DD using the Jaguar slide. Sitting there relaxing by the pool I just feel like I'm at a resort in Cancun.

I love the hot tub!

The bartender (who's name escapes me) is also great at Siestas.

Watching the pool opening ceremony.

awesome, thank you:) , so they make good frozen margaritas, I love strawberry mmmmmmm

I am so glad to hear that CSR (where I will be in 21 days) has a great poolside bartender. I couldn't get waited on by the bartender at the poolside bar at POFQ to save my life last year. I wanted a cool, refreshing adult beverage sooooo badly, but for some reason the bartender wouldn't even acknowlege my existence. :confused3

We were there in August. Always able to fine a lounge chair to sit in. The pool never felt crowded. Nice to be able to refill your mug at the pool. Was able to use CS credits for lunch by the pool.

Kids loved the slide. I went down it a few times and it was fun. Hot tub was and large and not crowded.

Lifeguards did activites by the pool with the kids.

It was like staying at a resort not just a hotel with a pool if that makes any sense.

We stayed at CSR a few weeks ago. This was our 2nd stay there, but our first time swimming at the Digsite pool. I had my daughters with me (14 & 5) and my DD best friend, 14. They all loved the pool. For the most part, the pool was alittle too deep for my little one, I believe the deepest part was 5 ft? She could barely reach on her tip toes, but she wore a vest most of the time anyway. The big girls had a blast on the slide. Personally, I loved the pool, it was very big and never seemed crowded, especially at night. :thumbsup2

I took a pic of my daughters friend going down the slide (below).

There is two but I forget their names. I'm terrible with things like that.

Yes, they have a bunch of flavors but I like the one they sell that is tri-colored. Again, I forget what it is called.

I'll be staying there in 5 weeks...wooohooooo:cool1:

Buzz..what's the pool opening ceremony?
The lifeguards get all the kids together at the pool opening at 10:00am. They bring them to the temple and the kids have to chant to the water gods in order to get the pool water moving from the fountains and the slide. It's a cute ceremony.

The lifeguards also play games with the kids having them dive for items they throw in the pool. They will also bring out a soccer goal and basketball hoop for the kids to use.

I love the pool at CSR. The layout is great, and the bar has those great margaritas. I personally love the pool at nighttime the best - it's beautiful.

I love that there is no hieght restriction on the slide. My kids (3 and 5) were able to go down. They wore the life vests the first few days, then they decided they didn't need them by the end! They must have gone down that slide a million times the week we were there. They loved it!

If you lay back it is fast! It has 3 or 4 curves in it if I remember correctly and is 123 ft long.

Check out his photo of the whole pool are and you can see the slide.

Buzz is right, if you lay down while you're going down the slide, you go pretty fast. I myself, sat up because I'm a big chicken and it was the perfect slide for me, not too fast, not too slow. My girls chose to lay down. Have a great time.

Is it OK for adults to use the slide (I am a big kid at heart)

I only ask as we have just retunred from a vacation here in the UK - beautiful location with a large outdoor pool and slide - on a clifftop overlooking the sea in North Devon here in the UK. But the adults sure would have got funny looks using the slide.:rotfl:

Yes, the slide is open to all guests, not just kids.

Oh, I think I'll sit up too, I don't like it to go tooooo fast, but I do like it to be fun and winding. Thanks for that pic!

The pool at CSR is one of it's best features. It has a great snack bar and drink bar. The bartenders are great too! The lifeguards that work at the pool have great activities for the kids to participate in and the slide is awesome for all ages. I also like using the hot tub after a long day at the parks.
